Excellent last minute getaway

Last minute booking and I couldn't be happier. The room was clean and comfortable. The location couldn't be beat. We enjoyed the thoughtful touches from beach towels to binoculars to coffee. We slept well. Appreciated the keyless entry. There was a temporary internet outage which was promptly communicated via text by hotel staff. Photos are accurate. The room is huge. The view is outstanding. Cannot wait to return.

Very comfy. Easy to get to Hearst Castle

Roomy room with all the appointments we needed. I loved the keyless entry. Easy check in. We had the front room with a beautiful ocean view,. There's a great boardwalk that will take you around the waters edge for a lovely walk. We did it evening and morning.

Wonderful stay at a terrific location.

The location couldn't have been better. It's at the end of the row of hotels on Moonstone Beach, so there's one hotel next to our building and a park on the other. Then a short walk across the road to the boardwalk for a walk, a peek at the full ocean view, or a seat at the bench. There are low-seated chairs set up in the front of the building to catch the views as well. The location is just perfect. And the parking right in the back made everything so easy. Also, it's a six minute drive to downtown restaurants and shopping.

Beautiful ocean view, convenient location to Moonstone Beach and other beaches, easy access to boardwalk. clean and comfortable room, well-lit parking area, thoughtful amenities, especially the coffee/tea bar. Constant communications from Mike via texts/emails.

More counter spaces in the bathroom would be ideal. The air conditioner/heating unit was not very responsive. It would take a while to change the direction of the temperature. For example, even when I turned the unit off, the hot air or the cool air would continue to blow out for a very long time. As for the shower room, the area was not sloped enough to drain the water fast enough. Also there was about 1/2 inch gap between the bottom of the shower curtain and the floor (no blockage barrier to prevent water from leaking outside the shower area onto other area of the bathroom. Therefore, you had to be very careful in where you were pointing the shower head to.

No office, no staff, no idea what room I booked!! Had to call phone number, they didn’t answer, but called me back and told me the room name. Really disappointed in the “first impression” with this place. It’s a nice room, and right across from the ocean.

Location is great if you want to be in front of the ocean, room was recently renovated, very comfortable, well equipped (fridge, microwave, coffee machine), nice bathroom, comfortable bed, a lot of space to store your belongings. Very quiet over night.

Basically it is a motel with nobody on duty, you get a code and you access your room. No breakfast, no common room. We stayed two nights and nobody came to make the bed after the first night. It was a the peak of the tourist season, but we found it very expensive for what you get.

Perfect location

This is more like a small collection of AirBnB units than a hotel - no office, no breakfast provided. But lovely little units - and one much larger one that we did not stay in. Ours had a small fridge and microwave, and in a nice touch, paper plates and real mugs for coffee. Clean and comfortable. Perfect location at the quiet end of the boardwalk.

Amazing location right across the street from the moonstone beach boardwalk. The house was very spacious with amazing ocean views! The kitchen was fantastic, well stocked, and the property was immaculately clean. Would highly recommend! We are already looking at dates to come back!

The room by look and feel, felt like a spacious hospital room. The room didn't have the warm, cozy, feel to it. The room could have used more pictures, soft padded chairs, etc. Also, the mattress was adequate, but it didn't soft and thick.
