We had an awesome stay at this unique yurt-like home (teepee-style setup)! The open-plan design made the inside feel really communal—perfect for our group—with the kitchen, dining area, and bunk beds all in one cozy space.The outdoor dining area had a beautiful view and plenty of seating for everyone to relax and hang out. While there wasn’t a laundry machine, it wasn’t a big deal for us since we mainly used the place as a home base while we were out adventuring and off-roading during the day.The location is great—really close to the beach and some great tracks. A big bonus: the property owner was super friendly and even let us take our vehicles around his land, which made the experience even more memorable.Highly recommend if you’re after a laid-back, adventure-ready spot with a great vibe!

This is a truly magical place to visit and spend some quality time! The peace and tranquility that comes with being surrounded by olive trees, sheep, and a pine forest is something that can be hard to find these days. We're so glad we found such an amazing spot to get away from civilization for a bit and only 1hr drive from Auckland.

Awesome secluded Bach experience. Great views. Outdoor woodfire bbq is excellent. Too bad we could not manage to use the fireplace. We were a bit bold to have a non sleeping baby with us as the open plan structure means everyone enjoyed the noise at night. But we were aware of this so no surprise here. Great place for layed back friend/family time. Can't wait to try the olive oil.

Me and 8 friends hired this property for 1 night to catch up with everyone some from out of Auckland.The place was perfect for hosting, great in door out door flow. Plenty of room for games on the lawn. Very peaceful and private, no neighbours prying in.Would definitely reccommend.

I wanted a place where I could have a good time with friends for my birthday and this was perfect. Easy booking and Carmen answered all my questions! Lots of space outside by the BBQ area and we enjoyed the fireplace inside - perfect for a wet winter evening! It is very quiet and a beautiful view!

Maybe I just missed it in the listing but wasn't obvious to me that the beds were four doubles and four singles, that was the only real hiccup though. Roof under tables outside was quite leaky but we made do ok. Great location, out of Auckland but still quick to get to; had everything we needed and nothing we didn't.
