Dante is a wonderful person and great host! Room was well appointed and had a nice view. Windows block traffic noise well. Breakfast was great and terrace lovely.

There was no hot water so we couldn’t shower. We understood the boiler had broken and was out of the hotel’s control. We asked the manager for some compensation which seemed reasonable. We were told we had already received a discount on booking.com for Black Friday sale - totally not relevant to the issue of hot water! - and dismissed. Poor management. We were also told there was no parking near the hotel that night and we’d have to walk 15 minutes to park the car at the Orlando garage. We walked in the dark in rain on a very busy and dangerous street with our bags and my two elderly parents. When we arrived Dante (great guy!) told us that often for a one night stay it is fine to leave the car just outside even without a reserved space and was surprised we hadn’t been told that. We felt bad to have walked in such unpleasant conditions due to poor communication from the hotel management. The hotel also needs to advise people NOT to follow the quickest way on Google maps from the parking garage but rather to walk 2 extra minutes to stay in the pedestrian zone. Basic safety information for guests. I shared this feedback with the manager who didn’t seem particularly interested.
