The location was perfect as we came from a rainy day at Alton Towers. It had everything we needed, fresh towels, heating, tea and coffee (bring your own milk though), beds and sofa were so comfy, so much room for our stuff even though we didnt bring much, powerful shower, DVD selection great for the evening, takeaway menus which was great for us, plenty of space for parking, host was very communicative with any questions
No signal (we could still make phone calls just no data - only found data signal in small bursts) so lived off the grid for the evening, wasn't an issue for us, but could be for anyone who needs Internet access

Beautiful property, gorgeous grounds and views. Super homely and cosy.
No instructions on how to check in, so tried the door handle and walked into the cottage. Electric had tripped, so I had to fumble about in the pitch black to find the fuse board. Couldn’t contact anybody as there is no WiFi or phone signal. Beware of the raised and loose stones when coming through the gates, they have pierced a hole in my exhaust pipe. No shampoo, conditioner or milk. Considering the price we paid, you’d expect the basics to be provided.
