We had a great family reunion weekend, thank you very much.
Super location with great views. All rooms large, well decorated. Very clean with information clearly labelled. High spec equipment eg washing machine, tumble drier eg. Well equipped for a large group with enough seating in lounge and kitchen ( which isn’t always the case at other venues). Easy access to Leek and attractions.
One oven door does not shut properly. Table in the kitchen sticky.

Lovely big property out in the country to get away from things for a few days.
Nice big house and room for all of us. 6 adults and 4 kids.
Absolutely zero phone reception which isn’t the owners fault and helpfully there is free wifi throughout the property.

Exceptional
Friendly and helpful hosts. Close to leek with it's many useful services and swimming pool. House is great for families and gives loads of space to sit, drink tea and relax. Brand new oven and fridge are massive and great addition. All rooms ensuite and showers are boiling. Thanks

Located just 20 mins from Alton Towers it was the perfect place to stay for my son's birthday!
Great location, quite tricky to find the first time, but once we knew where the turning was, from the road, it was fine. We loved being out in the countryside. The scenery is beautiful! We had a fabulous stay - 2 adults and 8 teenagers (for my son's 16th birthday!). The barn was the perfect size for all of us - didn't feel cramped at all. I (stupidly) left my bag behind and Adrian very kindly packaged it up and sent it back to me within a week. It was very good of him to go out of his way to do this, so a massive thank you to you Adrian!
Not sure about all the laminated 'warning' signs all around the barn. I realise they were there for a reason, to be helpful, but it did feel a little negative initially.

The hosts lived opposite the barn so it was easy to communicate with them.
