Lovely host, fab breakfast and very very comfortable!

Yvonne is the perfect host. The breakfast was amazing and she went above and beyond. It felt more like having a helpful landlady than a guesthouse host. She was so kind and helpful and the room was lovely, warm and cosy. And it was very near to where I had to get to on the Saturday morning. Perfect in every way. And the cats were the icing on the cake. I spent a very happy couple of days there.

The Wifi doesn't really work. Yvonne has done everything to try to make it work but the area is very rural. However there is a total solution and that is you can use your data from your iPhone if you want to use your laptop as there was decent 5G. Not really a problem but worth mentioning.

Very clean and comfortable with an amazing host!

Lovely property, very clean and comfortable. Yvonne was an amazing host. I was attending a wedding at Swynford Manor just around the corner and Yvonne also very kindly offered to come with me in my car to Swynford Manor and then brought my car back to her property to save on a taxi fair to the wedding. With a delicious full English breakfast the next morning! Thanks again Yvonne

Excellent location, very convenient to Newmarket and host was superb.

Yvonne was excellent, cup of tea when we arrived, biscuits on offer, was also helpful with recommendations and facilitated an early breakfast as we had a tour of Newmarket early on Saturday morning. Thank you once again.

The best B&B I have eve stayed in!

The home was lovely, and it all stemmed from how wonderful Yvonne was as a host. She went above and beyond in all aspects. Yvonne was kind enough to pick us up from the train station and take us to a wedding in the next village - purely to ensure that we were not inconvenienced. We could not have had a more exceptional stay. The breakfast was brilliant, and we could not find a single fault with anything. Plus, her cats were super cute!

That we were not able to stay longer and just enjoy being in that house!

Yvonne is a wonderful host. The location is a lovely, quiet village that is a picturesque view of England. She also makes a wonderful breakfast. You couldn't ask for more.

The location was not that easy to find but the Owner was very helpful when I phoned her for help in finding The Courtyard. The breakfast was very good.

Lovely friendly B&B.

A more traditional B&B in a lovely setting - host was very friendly & super accommodating which was great! Room was a fair size with a very comfy bed & adjacent bathroom. Breakfast was the best I've had in a B&B, the price was purse friendly too. Perfect for my needs!

Not to be repeated.

Did not like breakfast. Poor, thinnest white sliced bread toast, no offer of brown. Smoked salmon and scrambled was a whole pack of salmon. No one needs that much. Returned most of it. Generally ok, but would not repeat stay.

Morning of our stay owner telephoned to seek time of arrival, this had been agreed months ago. Pressured to delay arrival as she was going out. Take shoes off in house, leave in hall. No overshoe covers offered. No Wi-Fi in bedroom, never shown shared lounge or invited to use it. Bedroom and landing have sloping ceilings making it impossible to stand upright. Not mentioned in property description. No key bedroom door, no key hole, had remain unlocked our whole stay.

The room was all we needed in a base for a day at Newmarket Races. Yvonne was welcoming and even gave us a lift in which was ideal. And she cooks a mean breakfast.

Lovely location, very quiet and a short drive from larger towns.

Beautiful location in a small village and just over a five minute drive to Newmarket. The house is in a courtyard up a short driveway. The buildings look quite historical but I didn't delve into the history of the place during my visit. There is a local pub a short walk away and there are many hiking routes that can be started from the village. A good spot for some star gazing as there are not that many street lights, the village is also a good distance from any major road so the noise from road traffic is very minimal.

The only negative was finding the entrance to the Courtyard as there is no clear signage and it took a few minutes and a spot of luck in choosing the right driveway to find the place. I'm sure it would have been fine if I had contacted the host and asked.
