Perfect for a trip into the city

It was a spot to sleep other then that I wouldn’t recommend this to any one.

It was convenient

Everything. Expensive, roof top terrace was closed for a party then was supposed to open next day remained locked. There was a guy dressed as a women at the front counter. And I was supposed to have e a view. I had a view of dead pigeons and roof tops. With a little water in the background.

Nice enough, too expensive though for the faults of the place.

The location was fantastic and the room was attractive and simple, and the bathroom was fantastically designed. The view from our room was perfect. Did have a full sized safe that could hold a modern laptop, always appreciated.

The room could use a closet or actual wardrobe, and the hotel advertises Apple Pay, but won't actually allow you to use it and the staff was making up stupid reasons why. Which should be criminal at this point in history. Support for the more secure tap to pay payment should be mandatory for all purchases these days.

Proximity to Public Market

Nice facility, good restaurant, wonderful staff. We enjoyed our stay. We had a view of the market and waterfront area. Shopping and restaurants were right outside the door. We also walked to the downtown shopping area and took short rides to a few other sites.

Wifi was flakey in out room on the 7th floor. It always worked but necessary to reconnect multiple times. Casual chair in the room was not comfortable.

The State Hotel was in a perfect location to see all of Seattle

I'm not sure the affiliation with biscuits and Seattle, but the biscuit breakfast sandwich was phenomenal!

We would have liked a full-length mirror in the room vs. the back of the bathroom door.

One of our favorite hotel stays in a long time

Service was amazing, location couldn't be better, the hotel felt very modern, fun and clean. Loved the rooftop terrace. The $15 amenity credit was perfect for having a drink and looking out over Pike Place. We are absolutely planning on coming back, hopefully soon!

There isn't a single thing we didn't like. The room was wonderful & I can't imagine a better way to enjoy all that the area has to offer.

Great place to stay before a cruise. Easy to walk to several place to explore the city

The hotel is very nice and in a great location. We were able to walk with our luggage to pier 66 to board our NCL cruise ship. The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly.

I was not a fan of the restaurant. We ate breakfast. Our waiter was very slow and did not get refills on our drinks.

Definitely not 4 stars. Adequate but not worth the price.

There was no breakfast included. We bought breakfast at Bon Paris restaurant and it was very good.

Definately not a 4 star hotel unless they are self rated. No closet to hang your clothes. Only one old worn decrepit chair in the room that needs to be thrown away and replaced with something usable, ideally at least 2 chairs should be provided. The so called premium view was small window and not worth the increased price.

Amazing Weekend Getaway with my Hubby!

It was my husband and I first time to Seattle. We live in Portland so I was so excited to choose a hotel in a prime location with good reviews. The state hotel hit a home run! The location was close to everything touristy! The staff were so friendly and welcoming! The rooms were clean, the rooftop was perfect to see the views. We loved our stay!

Only small thing was the brightness of the thermostat, it was a bit bright when sleeping.

Great stay!

I stayed for 3 nights. I was looking for a place super close to Pike Place Market. This place met all my expectations and more! The location was primo! My room was quiet, cozy and very clean. Staff was attentive & helpful. Throughly enjoyed the restaurant/bar area. Food was exceptional! Would definitely return.

the had coffee and other breakfast items in the free breakfast. it was ok. I like the security with the room card pass to enter in the evening and also to use the elevator.

Parking is a little tricky but definitely doable. There is a public parking garage in the next block down the street and the hotel sends a link to set it up. Our room had a view of a brick wall but asked for a quiet room and that's what we got. No fridge in the room but ice available at the front desk. No closet or good place to hang things so we just had huge piles.

I did like that it was walking distance to Pike place and the waterfront also multiple restaurants and shops

Ever I did not like that everything closed around 8 or 9 My husband and I recently stopped drinking and that seems like it's the only thing to do around there after 530 Also didn't like the fact that we did not have a microwave or Mini fridge in our room
