Studio appartment for a friendly price.

It's the second time we stayed at l'Etage. The location (10min walk to the train station and slightly further to the center) was perfect for us. This studio has everything you need for a short stay (+ many classic books in French, also for children) and is just fine for 4 people. The contact with the owner is reliable and kind, there were tourist maps and information about cultural activities in Rennes available in the appartment which we apprecieted and used. The price is friendly, compared to other places at similiar location in Rennes.

Value for money

Considering the state of the building and the corridor, which was creepy, the flat was nice, kind of shabby-chic, it reminded me of university times. Quite clean, good bed, good shower and very quiet. Value for money.

Arriving in the dark, it was really creepy. I used the light of my mobile to find the place. If I had not seen the street view on Google Maps I would never have expected a "hotel" to be there. Actually it was rather Airbnb than booking. com. But instructions as to getting inside, which were sent to me, were very good.

Good apartment but very poor breakfast.

Clean and enough space.

We get just jam and butter to eat for breakfast and bread was delivered next day. So, technically, we didn't have proper breakfast first morning of our stay and then just bread with jam and butter.

Cosy apartment, recommended!

The apartment is located in the city centre, near the South station and other services. It is spacious, silent and bright. It offers facilities like towels, shampoo, shower gel, hair dryer, heating, bed sheets, kitchen utensils and pottery. The place was clean, overall, particularly bedsheets, towels and bathroom. The host communicated excellently and cares for their guests. On the day of arrival, I received a code to unlock the building's door and then a code to open the box for the apartment's key. Breakfast was included in the price and it included fresh products that were already in the fridge upon arrival and some others that were brought nice and warm in the morning, which was a nice surprise. Hospitality and breakfast exceeded my expectations! I would come back.

The kitchen utensils could have been cleaner and some of the food was outdated.

Cozy, nice and close to the center

The house was easy to find and the autonomal entry is really convenient. The breakfast was really good (a baguette, jam, butter, milk, juice, madeleines, coffee and tea). Everything was clean and the house had a bit of everything (and many, many french books!). It is not far from the old city (around 20 min by walk) and it's close to the train + bus station (10 min by walking). I totally recommend!

There was just a toilet paper roll, not enough for 4 persons in my opinion.

Good location, friendly owner. There is even a breakfast, but it is rather a kindly gesture from the owner as a real breakfast - I think it is a good idea.

La proximité avec la salle le Liberté et le centre ville ! Le logement est spacieux et les lits agréables ! Le logement est lun des moins cher dans le centre ville de Rennes.

La propreté n'était pas optimale. Il y avait sur la table de la salle à manger la taxe de séjour du visiteur précédent. Preuve que le logement n'es pas systématiquement nettoyer entre deux visites !

Bien équipé sur tous les plans: literie/linge douche produit de toilette ustensiles de cuisine et même épicerie vaisselle J’ai apprécié également l’aménagement La tv est un peu petite par contre

Le parquet fait bcp de bruit au niveau du séjour J’ai moins aimé les alentours : cours d’accueil et les escaliers (partie commune de l’immeuble) je trouve un peu austère ne cadre pas avec l’appartement

La proximité avec la gare, la situation de l'appartement au calme et entouré de verdure malgre tout, les campanules dans la cour, le calme, la propreté, la déco, le linge de maison, la gentillesse et la disponibilité de la propriétaire, le lit très confortable, le wifi, la tv, tout était parfait.

RIEN ! Il manque peut être : juste une raclette à douche, je n'ai pas l'habitude de laisser les paroi des portes en verre mouillées pour éviter les tâches de tartre mais la douche était nickel à mon arrivée ;) aussi un torchon de cuisine pour essuyer la vaisselle mais j'en avais apporté un ;)

Rapport qualité prix imbattable : un vrai grand appartement proche du centre gare à un prix extra !

Le système de boite à clé est vraiment très pratique, on peut gérer arrivée et départ en autonomie. Places gratuites pour se garer dans la rue, juste devant me concernant. Une supérette ouverte jusqu'à 22h à quelques centaines de mètres (nickel quand on arrive tard de loin) Quartier calme C'est un vrai grand appartement, avec une chambre à part, une pièce de vie spacieuse.

Rien de bien méchant mais les escaliers et le parquet qui grincent m'ont fait craindre de déranger les voisins

UNA NOCHE DE PASO EN RENS

Lo que mas me ha gustado es la comodidad de la zona para aparcar, el desayuno y la cena la hicimos en locales de la zona que están a 5 minutos caminando.

No hay nada que me disgustase de forma notable, si hay que decir alguna cosa serían las escaleras de acceso y el ruido que se produce al caminar. Pero tampoco es algo grave.
