About this apartment rental
This modern and bright 70 sq. m (750 square feet) holiday apartment, built in 2003, has wonderful direct views of the beautiful Berchtesgaden mountain range and can sleep 6 persons. It comprises master bedroom with double bed, second bedroom with twin beds, bathroom and combined living room with large balcony (direct mountain views) & kitchen. The kitchen area contains fridge (with small freezer compartment), coffee maker, kettle, dishwasher, washing machine and a dining table seating 6. The living room has a double sofa bed, two armchairs, satellite television and radio, stereo system and an ADSL point with free Internet access. For children, there is a swing, climbing frame and sand pit in the front garden of the main house.

We loved our accommodations! The home was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities. The views were lovely with nightly sunsets and beds were super comfortable! Conveniently located close to Little Italy and the Gas Lamp though just far enough away that it was quiet, private, and was off the beaten path. Much cheaper than a hotel and offered so much more. Instructions and communications were thorough and clear. I would highly recommend this listing and plan to return! Overall this made for a great trip!!!!

The Familie Pistor were the perfect hosts. Stefan and Claudia have a beautiful apartment with absolutely stunning views. We were able to sit on the balcony and see Kehlsteinhaus (the Eagle’s Nest) and the apartment is located in close proximity to Berchtesgaden and Salzburg. Bischofswiesen is a quaint town and we could walk along paths and into the hills and along the river. One of the teenagers traveling with was able to use one of the family’s bicycles to ride throughout the area in the evening. The kitchen is small but has everything. There are a couple of things that would have made the apartment perfect. First, there wasn’t a washing machine in the apartment though the connection was there. It wasn’t a problem since this was our first stop during a five-week trip; if we had stayed longer, having the washing machine would make a difference in our decision to rent this apartment. The other minor issue was the internet. We were able to get separate accounts for everyone’s device but the connection is not a secure connection and we weren’t able to connect via WiFi to our email provider. I definitely recommend staying with the Familie Pistor and will probably stay here the next time we are in Berchtesgadenland.
