Very enjoyable stay at Alpenland Schneck. We would love to stay again.
Everything was ready for us on arrival. The hostess was lovely and came to greet us shortly after we checked in, leaving us some lovely snacks on the dining table as a welcome gift. Her English luckily was much better than my German, as I am still learning and have a long way to go :D. The apartment was very clean, cosy and comfortable, we enjoyed the retro feel of the decor and the view from the balcony was wonderful. A few reviewers have commented on the charge for linens and towels, but we thought the extra charge was reasonable, as the room rates are very good for the area, and you could bring your own things if you wanted to. The Berchtesgaden guest cards were brilliant, as these give you discounts on local visitor attractions and free travel on locals buses. Overall we really enjoyed our stay, and would definitely stay there again.

The worst apartment we ever stayed in!

The apartment did not have a separate bedroom. The small, uncomfortable bed was in an alcove in the main living room with a bedside table on one side and a partition wall on the other. The alcove had no window or door, only a curtain and was open to and part of the living room area. There was no space between the bed and the partition wall so one had to be an acrobat to get into the bed from the end and I kept hitting the partition wall at night as the bed was so close to it. The living room was also noisy as it was at the junction of 2 roads. The kitchen was minimalistic and ill equipped - not even a microwave and a barely any cups and glasses. The wifi did not work on arrival and even after 'being fixed' it was extremely weak.

Würden wir nicht noch einmal buchen
Die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Vermieterin war sehr freundlich und hat zeitnah geantwortet, wenn ich sie angeschrieben habe.
Die Zimmer haben nach Nikotin gerochen. WLAN hat drei Tage nicht funktioniert, mein Sohn hat der Vermieterin helfen müssen, damit es funktioniert. Um warm zu duschen, musste man erst einmal viel Wasser laufen lassen, damit es irgendwann warm wurde.

Gute Lage, freundlicher Empfang
Sehr veraltet, 70 - 80. Jahre Möblierung, dauerhafte laute Lüftung (24 Stunden), minimalistische Küchenausstattung (nur 2 Kaffeebecher, Geschirr teilweise angeschlagen), uraltes verschlissenes Sofa, uraltes Bett mit schlechter Matratze. Kein separates Schlafzimmer entgegen der Beschreibung (Wohn-und Schlafzimmer in einem, nur durch Vorhang getrennt).

Die Lage war super und nur ca 2 km von der Fußgängerzone entfernt.
Der Preis war sehr günstig
Leider waren die Möbel schon sehr alt, im Sinne von abgewohnt. Das Sofa war kaputt und unbequem und bestimmt von 1970 oder so. Auch nicht Zeitgemäß war der alte Teppich.

Berchtesgarden /Königsee/Salzburg/wandern
Ca. zwei Wochen nach unserem Urlaub in Berchtesgarden habe ich mich entschieden, leider keine schönen Infos für die nächsten Mieter/Urlauber der FW zu geben.
Der Gesamtkomplex besteht aus mehreren FWèn. Im Vorfeld wurde uns Fotos von offensichtlich anderen FW im Haus gezeigt und tatsächlich haben wird eine andere "alte, sprich wohl noch nicht renovierte FW" bei unserer Ankunft bekommen.
Vor Ort Schlüsselübergabe, danach Vermieterin sofort weg, damit offensichtlich nicht sofort kritisiert werden konnte.
Enger Gang mit Küchenzeile Richtung WZ. Übersichtliches, nicht ausreichendes, Kücheninventar alt/teils schmutzig (erst einmal alles gespült). Kaum Platz zum Kochen usw. Abluft ging von der Küche nicht nach draußen, sondern, warum auch immer, in das Badezimmer (?!), so dass der Küchen/Kochgeruch dort intensiv negativ wahrgenommen wurde.
Alten Kühlschrank zwangsläufig auf die höchste Stufe gestellt, trotzdem keine ausreichende erwartungsgemäße Kühlung. Draußen Behältnisse für Abfalltrennung. In der FW leider nicht.
Das Bett auf dem Boden liegend -überhaupt kein guter Einstieg möglich- mit im WZ-Bereich aufgestellt, sah aus wie eine offene Kammer. An der Seite zur Wand reichlich Staub/Spinnengewebe. Blick vom Balkon nicht auf den angepriesenen Berg "Watzmann", sondern verdeckt durch zwei runtergewirtschaftete recht große Häuser/Villen, welche nicht mehr bewohnt sind und daher entsprechend verwildert sind.
Im WZ stand eine alte große augenscheinlich runtergewirtschaftete Couch und ein großer, mit eine Riss in der Lehne, Sessel, vermutlich zumindest aus den 80`er Jahren. Wir hatten uns vorsichtshalber hygienebedingt einen Überzug gekauft.
Direkt hinter dem Hauskomplex lautstarke Bauarbeiten am Bach/Flusslauf, welche natürlich nicht von der Vermieterin zu vertreten sind, allerdings kein Hinweis. War sehr störend.
Fernseher nur 1.Programm. Nach Ansprache kam der Fernsehtechniker und es gab einen neuen Fernseher (?!).

Vermutlich waren vor uns Raucher in der Wohnung. Es hat leider nach Rauch gerochen !

Tolle Lage, Unterkunft okay, nette Vermieterin
Nette Vermieterin, die uns alle Fragen beantwortet hat. Die Lager ist super, Blick auf die Berge und auf das Stadtzentrum . Kostenloser Parkplatz, aber für größere Autos sind die Parkplätze relativ knapp. Schöner Balkon. Gute Lage (ca.15 Gehminuten vom Stadtzentrum entfernt). Ferienwohnung sehr geräumig.
Bettwäsche und Handtücher hätten zusätzlich gekostet, daher haben wir sie mitgenommen (hätte ich bei diesem Preis als inclusive erwartet). Hinzu kommt auch noch die Kurtaxe von 2,60 €/pro Person und Tag (!) Leider war auch kein Geschirrtuch da. Radio hat gefehlt, ebenso ein Wäscheständer (war aber angegeben). Auf dem Balkon hing eine Wäscheleine, aber bei kühlem und nassem Wetter wird hier eben die Wäsche nicht trocken. Leider war auch die Heizung aus. Die Couch war schon sehr durch gesessen.

Freundliche Besitzerin, welche auch sehr hilfsbereit ist. Wohnung ist ausgestattet mit allem was man braucht.
Bett war schon etwas älter und nicht sonderlich bequem. Leider ist in der App Ansicht nicht ganz ersichtlich, dass man Bettwäsche und Handtücher mitbringen muss.

Wunderschöner Urlaub
Die Aussicht vom Balkon in meiner Wohnung war mega direkter Blick auf den Watzmann und auch aufs Eagle Nest!
War unglaublich schön morgens mit Kaffee auf dem Balkon!
