About this house rental

Located in beautiful Bland bay, our bach sits in a prime beachfront location with reserves on three sides and full views of the bay. An ideal location for fishing, swimming, walking, and relaxing. Not only do you have easy access to Bland bay but across the road is Whangaruru Harbour. The bach is at the hub of activities in Bland bay with the Family Fun Day on the reserve directly in front of the bach. There is a large deck and BBQ to soak up the sun and enjoy evenings with family and friends. Inside, there are two double bedrooms and a bunk room for 6. There are two toilets and both bore and tank water.

A great place to stay and very well kitted out with all you would need. My only small comment would be to make it a bit more obvious that you need to bring your own linen and towels, I nearly got caught out last minute. A small thing but important. Everything else was fabulous very comfortable and a fabulous location. Instructions for access were easy to follow.

Perfect weather, perfect spot practically on the beach. Comfortable beds and easy living. Don’t forget to bring all your food and drinks. It’s miles to a shop!

Amazing location, right on the beach, with a big yard. Basic bach with plently of games for the familty to enjoy. Spencer was a wonderful communicator and went the extra mile to send details of local events happening. We all had a wonderful time.

Superb location and really well equipped for two families. Loved the commute to the beach, maybe 20 steps maximum. As with other reviews take everything you need from a groceries perspective, it is not a short or straight drive to get to a shop to reprovision. Would definitely stay again.

Awesome property, great location and set up. We were a two family group with four kids under 3 and the house layout worked perfectly. Well kept and well equipped. fully stocked bach, we all would highly recommend staying here. we all would also hike to thank the owners for making the stay so easy and opening there 'home' for us. We will be back!

We really enjoyed our stay. The view and the outside seating was truly relaxing. Spencer was very accommodating to our needs and went out of his way to make sure we were happy guests. We had our wedding in Bland Bay and needed a home base and this house worked really well for us. We had all the bedding and kitchenware that we needed to stay there for the week. We wanted somewhere with close access to the beach for our kids and this was it. The outdoor shower just before you come into the house is really helpful with sandy kids! They also have tons of games and puzzles that we used. The broken outdoor clothes rack was unfortunate but they did have some indoor clothesline options. Hopefully they can fix in time for next guests. Bland Bay is a really special location and this house worked well for our family of four!!! Don't forget to buy all of your groceries before coming to the area. You can buy all of your groceries and liquor in Russell or Whangarei before arriving in Bland Bay.

Amazing spot and well equipped house. A great assortment of kitchen utensils/pots etc and plenty of crockery/cutlery. Lots of board games and books available too. Hosts were a pleasure to plan our holiday with.
