Quintessential BnB experience. Historic house well restored with character. Lovely view in peaceful Russell and near Bay of Islands activities. Proprietors are very welcoming and provided a detailed overview of the area with suggestions for activities. Truly gourmet breakfast prepared by gourmet chef Peter and many ingredients and jams from his own garden. I cannot give enough accolades and I am normally the critical type and resist giving full marks. Total 10 out of 10 all around.
That my time there was limited.

Great attention to detail in every aspect of our stay. The breakfasts prepared by Peter and served by Greg were outstanding - a great start to the day. We enjoyed being able to leave the car behind and walk into Russell which is a brilliant resort town. Arcadia exceeded our high expectations!
