Regent Residential House

The location was fantastic. Walking distance to necessities (grocery, coffee shops, pizza place, restaurants, liquor store), and a short walk on a path to downtown. We had a large family of 7 and were able to be accommodated well.

I’m unsure if we couldn’t figure it out, but we just couldn’t get the air conditioner to work for us well enough. The oven also had much of the markings rubbed off, this was passed off to the host.

Location was great. Access great. Good open plan design for multiple persons staying. Good fridge. 3 bathrooms was great for a large group of women. Good utensils and kitchen gear. Beds were comfy and linen was nice and clean. Good room for off street parking.

Left over used soap and toiletries in showers is off putting. Overall the house could be cleaner, a bit of scunge in bathrooms and floors, edges and corners etc. We had to buy our own dishwasher tabs, as there were none. The gas ran out and when we called the number given for help they told us to swtich it over ourselves, which is easy when you know how but not if you dont, just extra stress we dont need, I think someone should have just come over and done that to make sure it was done properly. It is gas afterall. One of our people got a fright to see the washing machine going when she was on her own at the house as the house should have been empty. It seems the owners came in during the morning without us knowing to use the laundry, they informed us the next day via text that their laundry was out of order and they needed to use ours. That was a bit awkward for us as a group of women, no one should be entering the house without our knowledge and only with our permission. Its a cultural and safety issue. Thank you.

We stayed in the Villa as the Regent house was occupied. Location is ideal, next to New world and Woolies. Great price for the whole house. Easy to check in. Everything you needed for the night was there and available. Only thing I recommend is taking your own smoothie maker as the property didnt have one. Also did not ask if there was a permitted smoking area. Highly recommend there were 4 adults and 3 u12s and we all slept well.

Great place, more than enough space for my family. Everyone loved the individual bathrooms in rooms A & B.

Had a lovely stay - however prior to leaving on the morning of check out we noticed the guys who look after the property (office next door to property btw) were already trying to clean up and empty bins whilst we were still on site. Would’ve preferred that they waoted until we left.

Due to a last minute change of plans we were put into a different home, however this too was exceptional Clean, tidy warm and spacious
