We had a great time and a terrific vacation. The convenience of walking to the beach or boardwalk was huge for us. An added bonus were the two residential parking passes that allowed us to park near the beach when we had to bring more stuff with us.

Property does need some updates. It also needs to have some items cleaned out - the kitchen cabinets were full of things probably left by people. The closets were also full of items.
But we did enjoy just being together

Friends family and I went to the shore looking for a get away with good WiFi so we could work remotely. In that regard everything was great. The realtor Lyndon Johnson is a dick though.

I submitted a reservation for this property through VRBO thinking that it was going to go through the usual easy process that one normally follows on VRBO or other platforms, but it turns out that after making the reservation I learned that this property was managed by a property management company, and then I have to go through a long and painful process of having to call the company to make sure they received our reservation, signing a contract, paying them what I though I had already paid on the VRBO site, and of course you can't canceled the reservation as they have a 100% cancellation policy, and in addition, for check in you have to go to an office far from the house, pick up keys, and when we arrived to the house we realized that they don't provide towels, sheets or anything... this is not what VRBO is supposed to be offering. And at this point I still have to call VRBO to make sure I was not billed twice, by VRBO and the mgmt company. NEVER AGAIN.
