Perfect place to stay in Genova with families or friends
The apartment is located on the 4th floor of the building. The host sent me instructions on how to get the key. It's a very beautiful apartment with antique furniture and typewriters. This apartment is created with love. There are three rooms (the main bedroom, the children's bedroom, the living room), kitchen and bath. It's fully equipped: with linen, towels, a washing machine, and all cookware. We bought food in supermarket Basko (very close to house).
Unfortunately, we have only one night in Genova.

The owner was kind and easy to communicate. The location was easy to find the bar(to have a tasty café, typical genova sweets etc...), restaurants, pizza, supermarket etc...

Un soggiorno in centro, con davvero pochi comfort.
La posizione è il vero punto forte della struttura. Zona residenziale tranquilla e ben servita dai mezzi pubblici, piuttosto silenziosa.
Il pavimento della casa è a mio ignorante parere un autentico pavimento a graniglia in stile genovese, secondo me con una lucidata darebbe luce alla casa. L'inquilina del piano di sotto ci ha subito avvisato, pochi minuti dopo il nostro arrivo, che il solaio era fatto di "cannizzo" e travi di legno e che dovevamo camminare in punta di piedi. Impresa ardua con due bambini piccoli abituati a vivere in villetta indipendente; ci ha richiamato l'indomani, ma onestamente credo la signora fosse un tantino intollerante, considerando pure che in casa siamo stati davvero pochissimo.
La maggior parte dei letti sono comodi, la casa è piuttosto grande e credo superi gli 80mq. In soggiorno c'è un comodo divano moderno.
I quadri di Genova antica, assai presenti, li ho trovati gradevoli e in linea con la struttura; c'è anche una fornitissima collezione di libri su Genova e la sua storia. Peccato non aver avuto il tempo di sfogliarne nessuno.
Il proprietario è stato cortese e disponibile attendendoci all'arrivo e mettendosi a disposizione per eventuali richieste.
Il proprietario avvisa con uno dei tanti avvisi (stile motel) appesi ai muri sparsi per la casa, che l'immobile ha più di cent'anni e mobilia e suppellettili almeno 70, tenetene conto perché è così, con i pro e i contro della cosa.
**Bagno**:
Lo scaldaacqua a gas situato in cucina ha problemi di modulazione e l'acqua è sempre troppo calda o troppo fredda.
Farsi una doccia è comunque impresa proibitiva aldilà delle temperature. Io non sono decisamente un colosso ma potevo solo lasciare che l'acqua mi scivolasse addosso.
Assente il bidet, c'è lo spruzzino montato sul water, che però non si direziona e il gabinetto è troppo attaccato a doccia e lavandino per permetterti di sederti sul water al contrario.
Vecchie e variopinte le asciugamani fornite, avrei assai preferito delle classiche asciugamani bianche che danno un senso di pulizia.
Sarebbe stato assai gradito trovare almeno un paio di set monouso con shampoo/sapone.
**Cucina**:
Delle blatte purtroppo albergavano in cucina, suppongo uscissero dal lavandino ma ne ho trovate anche nei cassetti dove erano riposte le stoviglie.
Non avevamo intenzione di cucinare alcunché ma amo fare colazione a casa, ho optato mio malgrado per le stoviglie monouso.
Un microonde, giusto per scaldare il latte e una macchinetta espresso con un paio di cialde sarebbero state assai gradite, come pure dei rotoli di carta e una o due bottiglie d'acqua confezionata: non sono costi alti e comunque avrei volentieri pagato qualche euro in più.
**Overall**:
In casa c'era sempre puzza di fogna, soprattutto in cucina, e la presenza di blatte dava un senso di schifo e sudicio verso qualunque cosa, il che, di fatto, ci ha impedito di vivere la casa e ha un po' condizionato l'intero soggiorno.
Risolvere il problema della fogna è prioritario, a seguire, i piccoli accorgimenti sopra, aiuterebbero.
