Great apartment - spacious, well equipped and beautiful views

We really loved the apartment – it was spacious, comfortable, and well equipped. It was a lovely touch to find some essentials as well as tea and coffee available, which made our stay even nicer. We were sad to stay only one night, as the place is perfect for a longer stay. Watching the sunrise over the port and the mountains was a truly beautiful start to the day. Thank you! ☀️

Cosy apartment in a convenient location

The apartment is spacious and cosy, nicely decorated. It is well located, not very far from the old center city (30 minutes walk or 10 minutes by car), close to the sea, and close to convenience stores.

We chose that apartment mainly because it was mentioned it offers parking. However, we only discovered later that we had to pay 15 EUR for the private parking and we were provided information about other parking possibilities much later. We finished parking on the street rather than using the parking we payed for given that someone had to first access the apartment to pick up the remote for the parking. Besides this, the self check-in, done on a UK platform, was strenous with uploading copies of all passports and then required to do selfies with the passports, something that was not needed in other locations in Italy, where someone was present to take photos of our passports. Finally, while the check-in seemed very modern, opening the building door and the appartment door via a link on the cellphone, this might be enticing to young travellers but seems complicated for older people who are not so technology savvy, not to mention that with the current outages (see the recent AWS issues) such a choice to access the appartment seems not so secure. Luckily enough, it worked well for us and I must note that the host was very reactive and helpful when we called him.

Clean, big apartment in great neighborhood.

Big 3 bedrooms apartment in a nice neighborhood. There was a supermarket in the area and shops. I wouldn't stay in the centro storico of Genoa, so this neighborhood was a great option to explore the city for the first time; easy to go downtown walking or by bus. The bathroom and kitchen are brand new and nice. Bedrooms are big and independent of each other. Everything is on the same level.

You can reach the apartment by car or bus, but we walked and couldn't figure out how to get there without having to climb some very long steps, which with luggage was a bit of a challenge.

Good enough

The place is not new but you can spot it on the pictures. Quite good location if you search for the beaches. However, the nearest one is dirty and rather dangerous. Good pizzeria close the the flat. Easy access to the city center with the bus.

There was a problem with the garage however the owner helped us to sort it out. The host was quite arrogant when on the phone ("listen, listen"), although in text messages he tried to be very friendly. The shower drain was not working very well.

Lovely, would recommend!

Everything, the staff were very responsive, always answering within minutes. The location was great, relatively close to supermakets and good bus connections to the city centre. The flat itself was really spacious and more than enough for 4 people, very usable kitchen and very big toilette. The door lock is not as complicated as we thought, but you need internet connection at all times (which can be solved by buying esim or sim at the airport)

The only bad thing was that the wifi was very weak in the “living room” area, but nothing to be worried about since it was great everywhere else!

Apartment with own kitchen.

The apartment is full of different things (like in museum) but most of them are broken or unnecessary, they are on the cupboards, shelves and drawers gathering dust. Nevertheless, you are advised not to put wet towels on a table as it may cause stains… but at the same time the table is covered with lots of stains as it is much more older than my granny)))

It was spacious and nice apartment

We had to stay in an apartment of 30°c with 80% humidity!! No air-co and when we asked for at least a fan, they simply said sorry and that the temperature is not their responsibility!! Everyone knows about the heatwave and it's all over the news! It's not like this high temperature happened all of a sudden the day we arrived! And they had thermometers everywhere in the house, I mean they could've seen it or actually feel the unbearable situation?!! The air outside was even better! The apartment is in such an orientation that even with all open windows there's almost no air flowing in. In the end for 16 hours of stay, we had to take cold showers 4 times and barely slept. I advise you not to book this place. Also, there was no detergent to use the washing machine, or dishwasher; not even a bit of salt and pepper or tea/coffee. The very first and by far the worst experience we had with booking a furnished apartment with a full kitchen. Unfortunate. Gonna definitely contact customer service; because there's a minimum that every accommodation should have and one most important is to have a "healthy air" that people can actually sit or sleep in the place!!

Location was very good in between the center and the beaches (in case you like walking). Apartment's floorplan was good as kitchen & living room and bedroom could be separated by an interim door (one can have a breakfast while another one is sleeping). Two good grocery stores nearby. Albergo swimming pool 2km away.

It’s quite an authentic place to stay in Genoa, pretty close to the beach though you have to walk around 15-20 mins.

The host had some missing facilities in apartment as iron, for example. But in a host defense, as soon as we asked for iron, we got it delivered in several hours. :)

Apartment near the historical center of Genoa

Great apartment near the beach & close to the city center. Nice sunny balcony, especially sunny during the afternoon! Well equipped kitchen. Fetching the keys on arrival will require a fully functional phone, better make sure there's enough credit left. But then the fun starts! In June there's the Genoa poetry festival with street performances and music, which was well worth a visit. Steven, thanks for being an excellent host!
