Perfect location

The property is spacious and clean. It is also well-equipped and the host was kind enough to leave some coffee pods and a couple of croissants for our first breakfast in the flat. The best thing about this property is definitely its location, as it is only a short walk away from the city centre (about 10-15 mins on foot) and from the promenade which takes you to Boccadasse (Corso Italia can be reached in about 15-20 mins on foot). The property is also close to many bars, pizzerias and small family-run restaurants. There are a couple of biggish supermarkets not far from the flat, too.

Although in the property description it says that the flat is equipped with a drying rack for clothes, we couldn't find it in the property. Once at the property, we messaged the host regarding this, but we never got a reply. There is an external washing line that can be reached by leaning out of the bedroom/kitchen windows, but this is not really useful when the weather is wet. Also, although we were told that on the day of our arrival we would receive detailed instructions on how to access the property, no information had been received by the time we landed in Genoa. We had then to contact the host on the taxi to the property to elicit the information, which was a little stressful.

Superb

The apartment was really nice and bigger than I expected. We travelled with two babies so ate in a bit so were very happy to find the kitchen well equipped. It's in a nice location in the city, a nice base to walk from. The hosts were very helpful and adaptable.

It was a bit complicated getting a cot, thankfully we arrived by car and brought ours incase. If you are travelling with a baby double check you have a cot arranged.

Lots of restaurants and shops very close by. The host was very welcoming and kind despite our late-night arrival, and there were complimentary croissants for our breakfast in the morning! Lovely place in Genoa

The apartment looks great is cozy and has lot's of interesting decorative things that make it uniq and homey

None of the bellow make this property less valuable I only mentioned this aspects for travelers that could be interested in this kind of things.p The balcony was inside the building with no view. The heating had an on off button instead of an automatic thermostat.

It's a paradise, for real!

The best rental apartment I had ever been. It's big, really comfortable, in the city center, however in the right place to have a good rest, and surrounded by great restaurants and bakeries. We also worked from there a couple of days and the setup is perfect, even the Internet service is fast enough to support great quality video conferences. And last but absolutely not least, the staff, everybody was super helpful with the instructions for getting there, do the check-in and the check-out. When in Genova again, I will absolutely repeat Paradiso numero 12.
