Unprofessional host
The room itself was acceptable for one night.
The landlady was, in my opinion, quite rude. Right after I entered the apartment, I texted her about the bathroom door having no lock and asked what should be done. Since it was a shared bathroom with another room, I expected her to fix it or provide a solution. Instead, she told me to use a chair to block the door (!) and implied that I might have been the one who broke it, even though I had only been there for five minutes. She also said that since the place was cheaper than a hostel, I shouldn’t complain about anything. Later I noticed the lock had been 'repaired,' but it was such a poor, makeshift fix that I suspect someone from the other room did it - not the landlady.

Decent night's sleep
This is a good value for money, suitable for someone doing a quick stop over (as I did) or wanting to stay a few days. The hotel was easy to find, only a short (and relatively flat!!) walk from Brignole FS, the instructions were easy to follow and the room easy to access. Everything inside was bright and cheery, definitely adequate for a stay (especially given the price!!) Everything was as advertised, the flat has two bedrooms and shared facilities which were all kept in a good condition. Worth noting- - The details to check in are not sent until check in time (5pm) so you would need Internet access to check in. - on the day of arrival you will be asked to arrange a bank transfer/paypal for the tourist surcharge (€3 per night) with a comment that this has to happen before you can get the check in details. -As I think others have commented the bed has a bar down the middle, if you sleep across the bed this may be uncomfortable, I slept like a log personally! -Not all the stairs have rails. (See picture)
There was only one bath towel in my room, no bath mat other than the 'communal' one in the bathroom, and no hand/face towels. The bedding only had a thin cover, I managed, but imagine many others would find this cold. The bathroom lock could use updating, the lock to the bedroom worked but required a bit of muscle. No handsoap.

Conveniently located apartment with a great host
This apartment is quite basic but has everything you need to stay for a couple of nights. The location is really convenient because the metro/train station is just a pair of minutes away. You can easily travel to any part of the city and even to other cities. Marta, the host, is also very nice and helpful. She is very responsive and will help you when you have questions or issues. It was always a pleasure to communicate with her. The neighbourhood has a lot of decent coffee shops/cafeterias, and a 24/7 grocery store is nearby. Just be advised that the walls here seem to be rather thin, and you will hear quite good what your flatmate is doing. Anyway, I recommend staying in this place rather than in a hotel to get a more "local" experience.

not a cooperative owner
near metro station
the way the owner deal with client is strange . the room i booked was empty when i arrived and i was tired from long tiring travel but the owner insisted that i must check in at 5 pm .she told me if i wanted to check earlier i have to pay . i refused .finally she accepted that i check in at 4 and half on the day of my arrival i asked her to leave my small bag until the time of check in . she refused.also at the last day of my stay, i asked her if i could leave my bag until the evening she said no . the flat is on the main street , so it is very noisy from the high sounds of cars .i had to close the windows to be able to sleep. it was cold inside the room . i asked the owner to turn on the air condition she said no

The property as I seen on booking was totally different from the real room -WC door was with our handle ,there is no locker on the room ,room was not clean ,kitchen items was really dirty .if I allowed to take pic and share with you the evidence I should do that exactly unfortunately I didn’t took pics.i need reimbursement of the 2 night stay

Good For a Short Visit - no WIFI biggest drawback
Location is a bit out of the main town but not too far in all honesty and also perfect for me as I was travelling from the station the next day and was only at the bottom of the street. Kitchen adequate enough. Bathroom fine Room big enough and had a fan. Supermarket just around the corner
If you follow the street numbers, and walk to the number - you're at the wrong end of the street! If at the supermarket end, it's the first door on your right opposite the cafe. Landing so late and being tired maybe added to me not being able to follow instructions clearly. There was no internet at all - router just didn't work. Need to ensure guests in other room don't put the dead bolt across and only use the yellow key - meant I cd not enter at 1130pm and was tired. Luckily knocking woke them up to answer the door. Reviews of others are true about the bed - it's not the comfiest and the slats do fall out. Cd be so much better if beds were improved.

Good location but there is no effort and upkeeping in the space.
Location
Total disgrace of a room. No wifi even though advertised. The beds are horrendous, you can feel the bed frame when you sleep/sit due to a disastrous mattress (not even a real one but a sunchair mattress), stained bed sheets, toilet door is broken in a shared apartment, no carpet near shower. If you have a lot of heavy luggage, avoid also due to 3 floors of long winding stairs and no available lifts. Communicated with the owner to provide wifi on multiple occasions but she ignored our texts on all instances.
