Exceptional

The most friendly and welcoming hosts I have met! Offered to help us with everything and even gave us a lift to the town's center. The location is perfect if you want to experience the old town and has the best view you can find. If you love cats you will also have the pleasure of being welcomed by Nazmiye and meeting many more cats in the streets of the old town. Furthermore, the studio was exceptionally cleaned and everything we needed was provided (towels, blankets, toiletries, kitchen utensils). Highly recommended, definitely plan to visit again!

Absolutely wonderful stay!

This place is sp lovely.... perched high in the old town you have an amazing view of Xanthi and walking distance to all the little cafes and eateries. The apartment is exactly as the pictures show.... immaculate, well decorated and cosy. We were able to cool some meals for ourselves and had everything we needed. Our hosts were so helpful and we were enchanted by their friendly cats who piked their heads in to say hello! We totally recommend this lovely place!!

Warm quiet friendly homestay atmosphere

The location is very quiet and beautiful. It helps if you have a car. The house is perfect for two people. It felt warm and cosy during our winter holiday. The hosts are awesome. We wished we had organised to stay longer.

Great place, friendly, clean, well done

The position is very good, indeed very close to the center and great view. It is uphill to return but not anything extreme. The people are very friendly and helpful, the room is clean, well maintained and fully equipped. It is a one-room studio, but it can accommodate 4 people (the idea being you go there for tourism, not to stay in the room alla day). All in all it is a great value for money.

The A/C struggles to warm the place when outside is around 0 degrees (we visited for New Year) and the boiler is enough for one person to shower quickly.

Nice self-contained little house in old Xanthi within a friendly neighborhood.

The flat is neat and tidy with all the daily utensils you need. Best of all, the host family live next door and they are helpful, friendly and generous.

Perhaps the house needs an identifiable name to make it easier to find.

Τοποθεσία καλή, ψηλά στα όρια τις ιστορικής πόλης χρειάζεσαι αμάξι ή ταξί, υπάρχει πάρκινγκ. Με τα πόδια μπορείς να κατέβεις μέσα απο τα στενά δρομάκια της παλιάς πόλης μέχρι τις πλατιές και τις ταβέρνες πιο κάτω.Πολυ γραφικό μέρος, παλιά ήσυχη γειτονιά με το μιναρέ του και υπέροχους κατοίκους.

Το βασικό μειονέκτημα ήταν η σαφής ανεπάρκεια της παρεχόμενης θέρμανσης. Το υπάρχον a/c {9000btu max} δεν κάλυψε της ανάγκες μας για θέρμανση σε μέρες που η εξωτερική θερμοκρασία ήταν σχετικά καλή. Φαντάζομαι τι θα γίνεται όταν η θεμοκρασία είναι κοντά στο μηδέν. Επίσης η απόσταση και η κατωφέρεια από το κέντρο της παλιάς πόλης είναι απαγορευτική για ανθρώπους που έχουν έστω και ένα μικρό πρόβλημα στην βάδιση...
