It's special

Nyksund is located next to a very beautiful landscape with a variety of intermediate to expert hiking trails. For this the place offers a good base. Nyksund is a bit special, but very interesting, if you like the vibe of a former lost place. Everyone we met there was super nice, including our host, who helped us in every regard possible.

The accommodation was at the same time a bit rustic, a bit unfinished, and lacking a bit of polish. The beds and bathrooms were fine, but the kitchen (both private and shared) could have been a bit cleaner and better equipped. It's a mix like Nyksund itself, a bit surreal. But if you selected Nyksund as your destination, you know what you're buying into.

first of all, the bed was incredibly comfy. We had booked a really simple room with shared facilities, but got upgraded to a small apartment with kitchen and our own brand new bathroom. the place has got a really old style, but the bed is great and it is squeaky clean.

A kettle in the kitchen would have been nice to have, but heating water for tea the old way was ok nonetheless.

Old worned out room in beautiful autentic surroundings.

The staff is very sweet people. The location is great!

The walls are thin as paper, if someone snores in the next room you dont sleep. It is clean,but very very old/worned out. It is extremely expensive for this standard. (But then again Lofoten is very expensive) 1 bathroom shared between 5 rooms. Bad equipped kitchen.

Situation, landscape, facility, shopping and a warm welcome : a wonderful experience !

The narrow and dramatic road to reach Nyksund prepares you to arrive further than the living world and ... surprise ! The site is far from Myre, obviously isolated, splendid but far from dead as you even find there a few occupied houses, gesthouses, two restaurants and some shopping offers, boats in the small harbour ... : a splendid land's end point where life is present to welcome you.

Nothing at all ! I can just indicate that to access the property we occcupied, you need to climb a several steps staircase. That could be a problem for elderly people with heavy luggages. One can choose a groundfloor facility but the view is probably less interesting !

Skön säng. Toalettstol och duschkabin nya och rena men runtom kändes ovälkomnande

Svårt att hitta. Dåligt skyltat. Läskig ingång. Kändes ofräscht i gemensamma utrymmen och kallt. Inte inbjudande. Rummet kallt. Satte på elementen och höll på att svettas ihjäl. Inga mörka gardiner.

Grei innkvartering i spennende omgivelser

Greit overnattingssted med de fleste fasiliteter for eget stell tilgjengelig. Flotte omgivelser og en storslagen tur langs dronningruta tur/retur Stø.

Litt mangler på kjøkkenet, som propp i vasken og dermed vanskelig å vaske opp skikkelig. I oppvaskmaskinen manglet det bestikkbeholder.

Parkeringen. Man fick inte parkera bilen utanför boendet. Vilket är okej, men det var också svårt att bara stanna och packa ut sakerna eftersom lokalborna inte tyckte om att man stannade en kort stund.

Unterkunft war riesig, wir haben sogar ein Upgrade bekommen und den selben Preis dafür bezahlt… und hatten eine ganze Wohnung für uns allein!
