Amazing experiance

We were the only guest in our time there so we had the entire house to ourselves. the View was amazing and they moved us from a external room to an internal room. Overall it was a brilliant stay and I can recommend the Arctic Ocean Lodge

To use the hot tub is very expensive as it is wood fire based. Other then that I have no complaints with my stay

Lack of communication (not answering messages). Rooms, which cannot be locked from inside. Poor internet (down 2,4 Mbps; up 0,8 Mbps).

I wouldn’t recommend staying in the main house if you have kids or of you are a light sleeper. Bathroom and kitchen are shared like in a hostel so the quality of your experience entirely dépends on whom you share the space with. We were pretty unlucky and had the whole place rented by a big group so we had almost zero sleep!

A completely authentic family run lodging and experience.

Stunning quiet location that is far from most of the main tourist areas of Lofoten but dont let that discourage you from visiting, this is a completely authentic and family run lodging experience. We really valued our time here in the cozy rorbua. It is a perfect location for doing a loop of Andoya Island for a day as well. 100% recommend for a relaxing weekend getaway, just be prepared to bring any food you want in, as it is 30 min to the nearest store.

Es war eine ganz neue Erfahrung für uns. Es war eine große Ehre für uns die Unterkunft mit so netten Leuten teilen zu dürfen. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Alles sauber und mit den passenden alten Sachen nett eingerichtet so dass man sich sofort wohl fühlt.

Wir haben eine Outdoor Jacke der Marke The North Face in der Unterkunft liegen gelassen und uns sofort bei dem Betreiber gemeldet mit der Bitte um Rücksendung bei Übernahme der Portokosten. Nach einer kurzen Rückmeldung, dass die Jacke gesucht würde haben wir nichts mehr davon gehört. Ich gehe davon aus, die Rücksendung ist zu umständlich und man hat keinen Bock sich darum zu kümmern. Schade schade, aber so hinterlässt die ganze Angelegenheit einen fahlen Nachgeschmack und ich möchte nicht wissen wie man dort mit anderen Problemen umgeht. Ich kann nach der Erfahrung von einem Besuch nur abraten!

De var ingen som var der for å møtte oss ved innsjekk (bortsett fra vaskehjelp). Vi hadde håpet på å kunne bruke badestampene og kajakkene, men ble fortalt at ettersom eieren var borte var det ikke mulig. Vi prøvde også å ta kontakt med meldinger via Booking med fikk aldri svar. Det sto også på Booking at det skulle være "gratis toalettsaker" - så det hadde vi ikke med oss, men i (felles)dusjene var det ingenting - ikke håndsåpe engang. Vi endte opp med å måtte bruke såpen fra vårt rom. Det var heller ikke noen vi kunne sjekke ut med.

Arctic Ocean Lodge sijaitsi kauniilla sijainnilla Andoyan saarella. Palvelu oli ystävällistä, ja saimme nauttia sekä saunasta että paljusta upeilla meri- ja vuoristomaisemilla. Jaettu keittiö ja oleskelutila oli upea ja siisti.
