An OK stay

Upside was plenty of parking, a new toilet and a decent kitchen. Comfy beds and, for the most part, well maintained.

No batteries for the remote controls, no or poor WiFi, and awful sofe, which was a decent enough bed but uncomfortable for sitting, which left little option to sit and relax in the living room. Check-in was rushed with little explanation of anything, including what to do when leaving.

Fit for purpose.

It was easy to get to the property. There are restaurants and other services nearby. The kitchen and Toilet was clean and all necessities available. The stair rail is broken and few other things could have been much better. e.g. having a mirror in the bed room.

The house and bed sheets smelled of cigarettes and overall house needed a proper clean. Unfortunately was trying to get the heater work but unsuccessful. Tyere were wires exposed within the property. Luckily the previous people in there left there netflix logged in as normal tv was not working.

Absolutely nothing.

The staff via messages were not helpful atall, someone was in the house cleaning when we arrived and made us feel extremely awkward. The state of the house was awful, absolutely not worth any money too be honest, the door had gaps around it which made you feel extremely unsafe also then the next morning the staff were rude calling saying too leave before it was even time too checkout.

the fridge/freezer was working

we were transferred to another place upon arrival, the beds were very uncomfortable and the sheets seemed used (hair and make up stains). the washing machine didn’t work, floor tiles were moving under the carpet, dangerous stairway, no fire detectors

on arrival we saw the front door open and adults and children entering and leaving. the door was not locked and secure.

we never went in.

We arrived at the property on Saturday afternoon and nobody there and we tried phoning several times and got no reply. We also tried emailing but to no avail so we ended up booking into a hotel. I feel I should apologise now as I have just realised I did have an email from but unfortunately my emails come to my I pad not my phone and I did not bring my iPad with me. However I do think they should have been able to answer one of the numbers we were given.

Was cleaning up after ourselves before we left ( as you do ) & we found used condoms & a bottle of urine on the window sill next to one of the beds. House just needs checked over, front door not sealed correctly, plug sockets hanging out of walls & lack of water pressure.

no front door key back door was left open it was freezing kitchen cupboards were filfy with chocolate inside them sofa had missing back test n was so uncomfortable coffee table broken beds so uncomfortable & rammed into too rooms wallpaper hanging off in lounge stairs very unsafe for children not enough bowls plates glassess for 6 guest but they were all wet & dirty anyways radiator hanging off the wall in one of the bedrooms cobwebs in kitchen ceiling

received a phone call 30 minutes before we arrived to tell us this wasn’t available and that we are going to be given an upgrade around the corner from this property. the property was ok and no complaints however, the neighbours to this property a group of young lads were fighting, smashing windows, doors and cars from 1 am to 7.30 am with the police getting involved. We couldn’t sleep because all of the criminal damage and couldn’t wait to get away from the property. I’ve private messaged the owner informing him of our horrendous experience and he has totally ignored my messages. apparently the house next door belongs to the cousin of the person that let us their property.

Bit of a walk from town and the surroundings aren't great but the property itself is very good

I was phoned en route to say the boiler wasn't working in the property so we had been moved to another house two streets away. It wasn't a problem and the property was good.

The area isn't the greatest, but the property inside was very clean and looks like it has been newly refurbished.
