Lovely clean property. Great location

The stairs are quite steep so not good for the older generation. Couldn’t find any cutlery and could do with a blind up in one of the bedrooms. No one could see in but just meant it was not dark as long as it could have been. Would not put me off staying again though

Lovely, comfortable house

We were very happy with our stay. Great communication from the host. Location was good, in a quiet street. Kitchen was well equiped and the bedrooms were comfortable. It was great to have so many bathrooms!

The stairs are quite steep so while okay for us it would be a problem for people with mobility difficulties.

Great property . Communication was superb . We were 7 adults and having four bathrooms was fantastic . We have stayed before and the addition of a table in the kitchen was great as seating seven of for a meal round the breakfast bar was previously a struggle

Absolutely wonderful, spacious, family house.

We loved everything about this house. I grew up in this neighborhood, and I brought my family from Canada to visit relatives. The house had everything we needed for a wonderful stay, and the location was perfect for us. It's walking distance to beautiful Scott Park, which kept my grandchildren happy, and close to shops, the downtown, and Manchester Road train station. The house is much larger than it looks from the outside, and has been beautifully renovated and well equipped. Our host, Donna, was quick to respond and there were excellent instructions posted inside. I would recommend this house to anyone who has a family or group, as it has four spacious bedrooms, with ensuites. We had such a happy stay!

House for weekend

Location and facilities. Couldn’t find the cutlery but it turns out there are two hidden drawers. The cutlery was in the bottom and the label advising of the cutlery was empty. Contacted staff and this was resolved after a few laughs. Overall we were pleased with the house and will definitely use them again.

Stairs were steep going up to the bedrooms. The 2nd floor handrail was too low for my husband and son. Couldn’t find the nest for the central heating but was able to bypass this after contacting staff who gave me a text with instructions and put on via boiler.

I think Luxury is a stretch, but i notice now the spelling is wrong in the description…

We were down for a wedding and the location was 4 mins drive from venue - so for us the location was perfect. Tesco very near also and relatively easy to find/park.

Talking to our group, beds were uncomfortable and generally the property could do with some TLC. Just about enough cutlery/crockery to make it work for 8 people but only just and we needed to wash stuff before use. I think the host could do with spending the night in each room and experiencing the stay, might help to make improvements and fully fix the things that are not quite working.

Warm, welcoming and comfortable

The hosts were in touch offering support before arrival. The house was warm throughout (we stayed during terrible weather) Every item you could need was provided. The house was so comfortable like a home from home, down to cushions, throws, any kitchen appliance you could need etc the rooms were beautiful and decorated well. The hosts provided so much information and support you as much as you want. The price was competitive. Roughly the same as 2 double rooms at local travellodge but provided so much more room, extra comfort and lots of little touches which made a difference.

There was nothing to dislike. The only point to note for some, were the stairs were narrow/steep & the house was over 3 floors, I had elderly parents with me who struggled, however there was a lovely shower/wc off the utility room downstairs. Please note this didn't detract from our stay but is something to consider.

Great stay and would love to return.

Liked the large well equipped kitchen. We were a larger family group of 6 plus a baby and we could all gather there quite comfortably. The house is located near enough to the town centre and public transport links.

The garden and foot path needs weeding and tidying. It creates a very, very poor first impression. Had we seen the exterior prior to booking, them Donna would have lost a booking because the rest of the house might have been equally neglected. The house was very clean and nothing could have needed improving.

Lovely house in Burnley.

It’s a lovely, comfortable house to stay in. Nice location in Burnley to get out and see the surrounding areas as well as being nice and quiet. The kitchen is really well equipped for cooking. All the bedrooms are good sizes, and the bathrooms are sparkling clean. We would stay again next time we’re in the area.

The house has a breakfast bar and kitchen island (for a table) all with high stools, and the older (70+) members of our party struggled a bit with this set up.

It was a lovely spotlessly clean house , beautifully decorated . Extremely comfortable beds & having en suite bathrooms in 3 of the bedrooms was wonderful.

While the kitchen is glamorous, having an island bench with high stools is not particularly practical for shorter or older people to have to clamber up on. A dining table & chairs would be more practical. Could not find any saucepan lids or food storage containers.

Lovely break

It was clean and felt like home. Lots of shops to commute to. Owners were a text away if we needed anything. Beautiful kitchen and beds were very comfortable. I would definitely stay again.

Just need a full length mirror somewhere. Only half sized mirrors available. Overall beautiful house.

The house suited our needs and we had a lovely weekend

The property was very clean and modern. Tea, coffee, sugar and other supplies were found in the kitchen. Body wash and shampoo was even supplied if you had not taken your own, which we had. Donna was very helpful when I needed to contact her about confusion about the number of people staying in the property as I couldn’t put 3 people on the booking site.

Comfort

Superb property with a very responsive host. Very comfortable beds and sofas. A large kitchen with everything + more than you need. I would have gladly paid double/triple the charge down south for this property. Will definitely recommend to others and use this property again when visiting up north again.
