Comfy house, quiet location

A warm and spacious house, with comfy beds (sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms, with no sofa bed), a lovely lounge (two large sofas in there now, which was better than the photos from when we booked), and a well-equipped kitchen. Some lovely little touches to make the place homely. WiFi and Netflix provided. We didn't meet the owner but they were responsive and helpful when we needed to get in touch about a couple of things. The house is on a quiet residential street, with plenty of parking nearby as well as easy access to various takeaways.

There were a few maintenance issues but these didn't get in the way of having a lovely break. The house needs a thorough clean, especially in those initially less obvious places.

My husband and I slept in single beds, although it stated a double, and the picture shows double. Little dirty in areas but nothing major

Worth the money, beds great, room sizes great, large kitchen, livingroom tele was great with netflix etc and wifi was great

ok property for a short stay

the location of the property was good, we staying there for a festival only a couple of miles away. it is also close to the city centre. there are 3 good sized bedrooms. Free Netflix was a good feature.

We arrived at the house and the key code we were given was wrong, we called the number that we were given but there was no reply, I messaged them through booking.com and luckily they got back to us pretty quickly. There is a smell to the property as soon as you walk in, it smells of dog and a bit fusty. On the surface it looks clean, however the kitchen floor and carpets didn’t feel like they had been cleaned properly, our feet were really dirty! The beds are all single beds, fairly comfortable, pillows aren’t great, the bedding seemed clean and smelt ok. The towels were clean but covered in stains. There was only 5 chairs in the kitchen and one of those was broken, there was only 4 of us staying but it sleeps 6 so wouldn’t be great if you wanted to eat there, we found a broken chair outside so could do with replacing. We only made pizza so didn’t need much cutlery, but you would probably struggle to do a proper meal. The sofa and chairs in the lounge were also stained. It’s fine for a night or two, especially if you’re just there for a night out, but wouldn’t be comfortable for much longer
