Residence sur Cour

Wir haben auf Grund einer Notlage erst am Abend gebucht und standen 15 Minuten später schon vor der Tür. Cedric hat seine Arbeit unterbrochen um uns alles zu zeigen und uns sehr herzlich empfangen. Die Wohnung hat alles was man für einen entspannten Stadturlaub braucht. Die Lage ist fantastisch, drei Häuser weiter gibt es viele Restaurants, Boutiquen, Bäckereien und kleine Läden.

Well equipped, pretty flat in a fantastic area - lively and full of supermarkets, boulangeries, restaurants and independent shops - but no noise in the flat. Welcome and care of the owner during the visit was great. Easy access to tube (Pigalle, but we used others nearby too), Gare du Nord, centre. We walked to Montmatre and Sacré Coeur. It was big enough for two of us sleeping in different rooms (Mum and daughter).

Don’t most Paris apartments range from tiny to small? This one is small but efficient, with a large, comfortable bed, drawers and hangers for clothes, a small but usable "toilette,” an amazing kitchen that packs almost everything you could ever need (stovetop, sink, oven, microwave, utensils, pots, pans, refrigerator AND freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, small table and two chairs) into a corner of the first room which also has space and furniture for sitting and a sofa bed as well. It’s well-located in the 9th arrondissement, just south of Montmartre, in an area that really feels like a neighborhood with boulangeries, food markets, pharmacies and lots of restaurants. The Pigalle Metro station is less than a 10-minute walk. The owner, Cedric, is nearby and very willing to assist you in any way that you may need. Special note: Cedric (and I) recommend that you get your daily baguette, croissants and pastries from Delmontel, which is a two-minute walk from the apartment down Rue des Martyrs.

Inconsiderate neighbors who empty their trash in the courtyard in the wee hours of the morning.
