2 Pièces de charme Montmartre

The place is fine. A typical Paris apartment. All the conveniences are there including the washing machine for clothes. The windows open into a courtyard which is a great insulator from the outside street noises - very quiet. It was warm in Paris (June) so some of the nights were pretty tough because there's not much wind or ventilation. The back bedroom had a comfortable bed but it did get warm at night. Opening the window wasn't a great option due to the construction.

I didn't like that the flat was on the 5th floor with no elevator which should have been disclosed in the listing. Many steps to get home every night. The old floors are very noisy and as others have observed the neighbor above walks a lot with a stomp to his walk (Why??) I considered leaving a note because this is something people can learn not to do. The top floor of the building was oddly vacant and under construction and the construction plastic was making strange loud noises at night during the wind. Also there was construction in the back occasionally so that created noise. I can't say the location was ideal. It was okay it's on a busy avenue in kind of a touristy area at the foot of Montmartre. There were plenty of cafes and shops in the area but also lots of tourists and buses.

Bien situé au pied de Montmartre, le plaisir d’arpenter tout près la rue des Martyrs, la rue des Abbesses, pleins de commerces et de restaurants pas loin. Très calme, car l’appartement donne sur une cour intérieure silencieuse. On est bien renseignés pour l’accès au logement, il est agréable, il n’y manque rien en équipement.

Attention c’est au 5eme sans ascenseur, Salle de bain vitrée de partout… un rideau et une porte moins transparente seraient bienvenus pour préserver la pudeur quand on est plusieurs!
