Beautiful surrounds/ friendly staff

Absolutely beautiful property. The room was very high end and comfortable.

Our particular unit didn’t have a kitchen, but they had a wonderful shared kitchen that we cooked meals in. They even had a cute screened in dining room that you could eat in. There also were restaurants close by.

A lovely place to stay whilst in Belize and venturing into areas of interest.

Sam ensured that he contacted us by text so we would reach the property without difficulties. The last leg to Sattva Land could do with a bit of work as it was a bit tricky. Glad that it did not rain as this would have been a bit challenging being in the rainforest. I would not hesitate to visit again with my family as the surroundings was tranquil, beautiful, clean, and the rooms were fabulous. Sam was lovely and easy to talk to and he did his best to make our stay a wonderful experience.

Beautifully designed, bargain price for the amenities. A verdant garden of eden. Very cool how each aspect of living: kitchen, sleeping quarters, bathroom, etc were spaced out. The family brought us fresh eggs in the morning for breakfast. Very friendly and wonderful hosts. Hopefully they keep this price, because they could charge wayyy more. One of the most beautiful places I have stayed... Just the landscaping and organic design, just was amazing, I wish I could post my walk through video here.

It is primarily a yoga center as the name implies. We heard the very friendly, long haired hosts playing music and I'm sure dancing into the night in another building. It seemed like they were having a blast and we didn't mind. Because the windows are open for cooling, sound carried, not a big deal with foam earplugs but if you are a light sleeper (or need to pee a lot in the night as the bathroom is around 100ft away) maybe not the best place for you. Also suv or 4wd recommended to get to the compound/resort as it it a half mild of bumpy dirt road.

The owners and staff of Sattva come together in a perfect constellation of love, kindness, warmth and attentive care to your presence during your stay. This energy of effervescencing human goodness permeates every aspect of the beauty of Sattva Land from the excellent accommodation, to the bathroom facilities, grounds, food and recreational spaces. All beautiful designed and prepared to exceptionally high standards. My daughter and I delighted in the natural swimming pool, giggled through trails of natural beauty as the joy of the forest rushes the heart. I can fault nothing of the food, accomodation, service. I want only to tell you to go and go quickly for it is a gift to experience and carry with you when it’s time to leave. Thank you to all who made our stay so memorable and precious to me and very grateful 12 year old. We love you! Jada & Sofija

Exceptional

By chance we found this jungle gem tucked away on hummingbird highway. This peaceful family-run retreat centre is one of a kind, the hosts are incredibly friendly, food is lovely and the attention to detail is exceptional. We only had a short stay, but enjoyed the lush surrounding nature, the jungle trail and the relaxing natural pool. There is a great variety of programs on offer, including meditation and yoga if you're staying longer in this tropical paradise. Highly recommended!!

I was impressed by the attention to detail in the room. The decor was tastefully done, and every element seemed to be carefully chosen to create a harmonious and tranquil environment. From the comfortable bed to the beautiful shower, everything was perfect! The chicness in a jungle setting was the highlight of my stay. Even in the middle of the jungle, the room is equipped with all the modern conveniences that you would expect from a hotel. Walking though the property I felt that I was withing a magical little community. The natural surroundings and greenery was extremely soothing and peaceful, and the sound of birds and wildlife was a pleasant change from the hustle and bustle of city life. The warmth and attentiveness of Sam and the staff was exceptional! His friendly and professional attitude made me feel right at home! This is definitely the place that I will return to on my next visit to Belize!

Interesting experience

The location in the jungle

The hotel seems to be set in a wellness commune, the 'restuarant' doesn't have a menu nor for does it serve meat so you get a vegetarian 2 course meal whatever. It wasn't clear to us when booking this was a commune and that the showers and toilets are communal and a bit of a trek from our room, nor that meat was off the menu... I think it should be made clear what you are turning up to. We are all for embracing culture but having a way of life imposed without warning is another.

Such a nice place to visit! It’s a sustainable Hotel with a high standard! The family who runs it, is so friendly and nice! Best pancakes allover Belize and best spot to see red-eyed tree frog! The property has its own jungle walk, a yoga room, a garden with flowers and hummingbirds, and a pond… We stayed in a room with toilets outside and with a shared kitchen and dining. Everything was clean and nicely decorated. For the price one of the best places in Belize! You’re in the jungle, don’t forget bug spray ;)

Don't miss this gem! I don't know where to begin... The room was clean, comfortable, updated bath. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. We felt like family and didn't want to leave! We chose breakfast and dinner package and the food was fantastic, fresh, and mostly grown on the grounds. Very relaxing surrounding to explore and we spent a lot of time there, but if you want to visit surrounding areas it is located centrally on the Hummingbird Highway. We have recommended to our friends and will return!

I have been traveling for many years, but have rarely seen such a piece of heaven on earth like Sattva Land - it is simply a paradise and unfortunately we were only there for 2 nights. Sattva has achieved the most beautiful interface between human habitat and nature. Wake in your eco-divine suite to a cacophony of bird sounds...yoga in the shala (no walls between you and jungle)...breakfast to pure orange juice from the land...swim in the open stream ...scene from a biblical ritual bath?!...dance in the bianhua to full on sound system on divine wood floors....the uplift is contagious...sustain on the pure high-vibe nutrition of the land...via the hands and kitchen of Italian food masters...chill here and there...hammocks and sacred spots all over...jungle walks...mysterious paths unfold....sunset golden hour by the lotus pond as the sounds of night set in....the moon and stars never felt so bright....an ohhhh...do those Italians know how to dine!..and jam into the night. Thank you Sattva...my heart is full...and my soul has been unleashed to the jungle.

One of a kind <3

Where do I begin?! Incredible Food... Check! Magical Jungle Paradise with a natural pool and exercise spaces... Check! Beautiful, Comfortable beds nestled in cozy incredible accommodations... Check! Sattva Land was my favorite place to stay in Belize : ) My hosts had lots of ideas about local attractions and had some fun activities going on while I was there! (Sound Healing, Yoga, CHOCOLATE MAKING!!) I took a stroll through the property's "Jungle Walk" and saw a ton of birds and even heard some Howler Monkeys. It's a short trip from Belmopan (the Capitol) and about a 45 minute drive from the coast... Staying here was an incredibly unique opportunity to learn about off-grid living, and recharge my own batteries while I was spending some time exploring this beautiful country. (Pro tip: Look at the blanket of stars while doing a night dip in the pool) I'll see you there next time I'm in Belize ; )

Beautiful and special gem in the heart of the Belize jungle. It was a majestic place that is truly unique and peaceful. The hosts are extremely kind and welcoming. The food was incredible and the attention to detail is mind blowing! We are really looking forward to our next stay.
