If you’re not picky about cleanliness, and facilities, you can’t best the location of the one bedroom studio. Restaurant

Location. Right on the beach. Stayed in Dreamsicle lower level. Restaurant had decent food.

Air conditioning started leaking on the bed at 11 pm first night we arrived after a long day. Didn’t get fixed. Shower had mold and mildew so I wouldn’t use it. They didn’t have toilet paper holder—had to reach behind on top of tank to grab a roll. Checked out after second day-had to demand a refund which they “approved” but to to-date—1–1/2 weeks—haven’t received. Had to file dispute with credit card company. Restaurant hard to get into. Must make reservations.

Quiet in the middle of nowhere.

Breakfast was very good..they had an item called a jack which was reminiscent of soapillas from New Mexico. The people working in the restaurant were fantastic, Hugh was an asset. You could walk to the bowlingling alley-no bowling but the food was really good. You could also walk to the Green Parrot.

Not the fault of the hotel...just the location which was the same of all the hotels and resorts..you needed transportation for everything.

Get Away

I like that our room was like a mini house with with it's stove refrigerator, coffee maker,etc. Very convenient. Additionally we had our own pool section away from the crowd and noise

I didn't like that the AC wasn't working properly. It was flowing hot air and it didn't seem powerful enough to blow the air across the room even after I made the AC fan swing

cabana was excellent you can throw a rock from the deck to the ocean. The restaurant is fantastic we had dinner and breakfast, definitely the best food of the entire trip. Front desk upgraded us into a beautiful cabana.

After a busy week exploring Belize making Maya Beach our last stop was heaven! Exceptional dining

Top notch rooms appointed with great areas for relaxing and enjoying the unbelievable views!

Our room didn't have coffee filters but the onsite coffee service at the bar opened at 6:30 am so we didn't need them.

It was a relaxing stay at a reasonable price.

We loved being able to either use the platform separate pool attached to the Dreamsicle building or swim in the sea. It was very relaxing. The food at the Bistro was very good.

Super friendly staff in peaceful spot on the beach with everything you need to relax and enjoy!

Incredibly friendly, welcoming staff who are very on top of it and will help you with all your planning and logistics needs. It's a quiet, peaceful place right on the water with incredible sunrise views. There are two pools and plenty of chairs and hammocks to relax in. You have free access to paddle boards and kayaks, which is a lovely way to start the day, when the waters are calm. The Bistro restaurant is open from breakfast through dinner and has very tasty food. The room was clean and comfortable, with AC and fans, and equipped with it's own kitchen and fridge if you want to do your own cooking. Even though it's a bit outside of Placencia, I did a snorkeling day trip with Captain Jak's who still came and picked me up at Maya Beach.

Amazing little place with wonderful staff

Great location. Staff was super friendly, we enjoyed chats with them and their good humor. Beach was well cared for and right out the door.

The staff was absolutely wonder.

Wi-Fi by pool didn’t work, no spa, dogs roaming on property. I just want really comfortable and decided to staff with a friend. I was told I had to contact booking.com for a refund.
