Our accommodations exceeded our expectations! The staff were extremely pleasant, courteous and helpful. It was my wife's 70th birthday and when we returned to our room after a full day excursion, a bottle of champagne was there along a Happy Birthday greeting made with flowers on our bed!

On our last night, the lights were off on the stair railing and sidewalk which made it very difficult to walk and dangerous. I didn't need to inform the front desk on this issue; it should have been noticed immediately once the lights were turned on in the resort.

The Jaguar Reef was amazing, love the amenities.

The food I did not like was poor to me, he Breakfast was cold, and the Pizza we consume from the Pizza hut on the property was terrible. The Dock ceveche was great .

5 Star luxury property in local community

The rooms, restaurants and beach were absolute 5 star. Beautiful with a light breeze running through to keep cool. Loved the dock and bar over the water and the rope swing into the turquoise blue waters below.

Not enough staff. Chaos constantly. Staff there rude. Toilets closed all week. Takes more than an hour for food to come. Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

Paradise at Jaguar Reef

The accommodations were beautiful! The villa's location was perfect, with a clear view of the beach and near the lobby area. The food was awesome, and I loved that everything had a local flair. And of course, my favorite was the amenity was the private splash pool.

I honestly cannot recall a single thing that I would have changed. I truly had a positive experience.

Beautiful and relaxing! This is a very nice place. The staff was great. We accidentally left something and remembered prior to leaving the area. They made a special effort to find it for us. We sailed on the hobie cat with their Captain. That was very enjoyable. Very relaxed atmosphere. Their staff was very attentive and took us on a little tour of the available facilities when we arrived.

This was one of the more expensive places that we stayed, but really it was in a class by itself.

Beautiful place but NOT worth the price

The rooms and the property itself are gorgeous. They keep everything very clean.

There is a lack of amenities and services that should be offered. Room service is not offered, there’s no spa on the property and there are times that you can’t get any food. They only serve breakfast 8-10am and do not begin lunch until noon. There is nobody that’s actually in charge of anything around there. The staff tries but you can tell there’s a lack of management. The location is not very close to other dining options unless you have a vehicle then you can drive to the village where there are other dining options. Cabs and transportation aren’t readily available.

The hotel is amazing, everything you need is there so if you're looking for a relaxing vacation with no noise, not a lot of people and comfort this is it! The staff is amazing too, they are so helpful and friendly. Kaptain Larry is a whole vibe!

Good

Hotel and facilities are very nice, and rooms are spacious and well-decorated. Staff seems well-trained, and generally friendly. Food options were plentiful, delicious, and reasonably priced.

For a higher end hotel, it was disappointing to find poor WIFI, a television that didn’t work, and a distinct lack of flexibility in booking excursions, refusing to modify these even when boats and staff sat idle as a result. On one day of our stay, we gave up on housekeeping, and simply asked for dry towels to be supplied.

we were not happy with the price of our room for the location of our room we had beach front before and that was worth the money but not the room in back it was too expensive for what we got the personal plunge pool was too cold

Great. Can't wait to return

Location was great. Pool was lovely and great access to the beach. Room was large. Loved the kitchen amenities and the service was great.

Check-in was delayed but they offered a free drink and appetizer which was nice.
