When you opened the oven door it brushed the wall. Had a washing machine but it was full of someone’s washing.

so close but so far from a great property…

you have everything you need equipment wise-stove, oven, microwave, espresso machine with beans, and a very very large. the location of the apartment is amazing, too, especially for Christmas markets. it is well equipped with plates, bowls, and utensils. also there is a large washer and dryer should you need it.

right when we opened the door we were hit with the smell of cigarettes. it took a while to figure out the heating, and without it it was very cold. we had to reset it both nights we were there. they only provided one of our rooms with 2 small pillows for a king size bed. our bedding smelled so strongly of cigarettes that I could not sleep and there was so much dust my allergies went from 0 to 100 in just the 2 hours we were in the apartment before going to bed. we arrived to maybe 1/4 roll of toilet paper and there was no additional toilet paper in the entire apartment. when I contacted the host about this he did not respond at all. in one of the showers, they left cleaning scrubbers and sponges out on the sink and left a half used bar of soap on the ledge of the shower- it had gotten wet and was stuck there for a while it seemed. there was also a bowl of half eaten nuts left in the kitchen that we threw out when we arrived. there are also pipes running through the walls of the bedroom that make a ton of rushing water noises throughout the night even when no one is using the water upstairs- it’s loud enough to wake even the most heavy sleeper.

Great value apartment in the Metz City Center.

2BR apartment with washer & dryer, full kitchen, 2 bathrooms, perfectly located in town. Good water pressure. - Clean, modern furnishings. Outfitted nicely with satellite/cable TV in multiple languages, big fridge, plenty of dishes, pots, pans & utensils, 6 seat oval dining table. - Walking distance to the sights, restaurants, pubs & shops in Metz - a lovely city on the Moselle. - The owner/manager available/responsive each time I phoned. - Excellent wifi. - Only a nine minute walk to the train station. Easy access to buses & taxis.

Curious lack of shower curtains made it difficult to keep the bathroom floors dry when showering.

Large appartment, comfortable couch and large TV! Very quiet at night and right in the city center!

Great value and great location

This property is a great location in the center of the old town of Metz. An easy walk to all the sites within the old quarter. There is a kitchen well stocked with cutlery, pots and pans, and all the other things that one would expect in a kitchen. Although we did not use it, there is also a washing machine for clothes in the apartment.

You will have to park in a parking garage and walk to the property. There is no on-site parking for guests. Depending on which parking garage you end up in, the walk will be between 5 and 15 minutes.

Cleanliness, size, decor, comfort, location

Perfect location. Huge apartment. Easily sleeps 6. We had 2 - my wife and me. Great for couples or family. Full kitchen with all amenities. Very friendly and helpful owner. Highly recommend. And Metz is gorgeous with lots to do.
