Le Saint-Bernard

The appartment is situated in nice area couple of kilometres from centre. There is a free parking lot next to it. In the appartment there is enough space for five people family. Also a living room and large kitchen table where to spend time together.

- We only spent a night there enroute Switzerland and liked the fact that it was not in the city center for us. - Free Parking was available in the square a few mtrs away but it was difficult to find a spot. It did have a charging station which was very useful since we have an EV - Finding the house was a little challenging but a quick call to the host and it was sorted. - Apartment is well done and was cozy for a family of 5 with 2 bedrooms. - Host seemed nice and friendly but not prompt enough in sorting out our problem with the boiler.

- We had clearly communicated in advance that we would be driving down and would need to shower on arrival and before departure, so we requested that sufficient towels be provided. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we discovered that the boiler was not working and displayed an error message. I spent over an hour trying to resolve the issue by adjusting the settings and attempting to reset the boiler, but nothing worked. The host mentioned he would come by the following morning. We had planned to leave early but had to wait until he arrived at 9 AM. He was able to reset the boiler within five minutes by accessing the motherboard directly. The reset button itself was not functional, and the speed with which he addressed the issue suggested this was not the first time the problem had occurred. This situation caused considerable inconvenience and delayed our departure by an hour. As a suggestion: - The boiler appears to be beyond its useful life and should be replaced to avoid similar issues for future guests. - If there is a known issue with a critical utility like hot water, I believe it’s important to ensure it is resolved prior to a guest’s arrival. - In the event of such issues, I would expect that the matter is treated with urgency, as guests are paying for their stay and should not have to adjust their plans around the host’s personal schedule which including running morning chores.

lots of water coming out of the shower due to positioning, but enough towels to dry it
