About this house rental

Located on the pristine Mendocino coast, the Sea Tower provides a peaceful serene escape with spectacular unobstructed views of the Pacific Ocean.

We handle all bookings personally (in addition to our day jobs) and regrettably we cannot accommodate bookings shorter than 7 nights.

This is a lovely cottage with chic decor in an amazing location. The hosts are generous to allow use of the fireplace even though we didn’t use it due to the beautiful Summer weather. We did read plenty of books from the library and used the hot tub to watch the sunsets which I highly recommend. Our stay was heavenly.

A cozy home with everything needed to relax, cook, rest, and recharge in one of the most beautiful settings in the world! It’s walking distance to two state parks, you can get to cute Mendocino in minutes, the gray whale migration was entrancing to watch, and we had no trouble having two professionals working virtually.

Jonathan’s home was very well appointed, cozy, comfortable and the location? Well, whales. And seals. We spent a lot of time in the backyard with binoculars. Location location location. This home was a true treat in a time of stress.

Wonderful escape to the coast where we relaxed and enjoyed this wonderful home. The location was perfect. The shower had the best water pressure too! Comfortable bed with great pillows and the heated bathroom floor spoiled us. We never understood the heated floor but now we will need to have one in our next home. Thanks for sharing your comfy retreat😊

House is very comfortable and well furnished. Had everything we needed. Comfortable master bed. Very nice neighborhood, and well located between Fort Bragg and Mendocino. A couple pointers that were mentioned in other reviews. 1) Hot tub takes a full day to warm up, so turn it on upon arrival if you intend to use it. 2) Thermostat can be temperamental. Overall worked fine, but one morning the heater would not turn on even though I dial up the heat. So had to bundle up for a few hours waiting for the sun to warm the house.

The house was beautiful, immaculate and had everything we needed. We love to cook, so it was wonderful to have every utensil we wanted in the kitchen. The owners were very responsive for any questions we had. The house and views were even more beautiful than the pictures could depict!

This is a lovely place to stay for a few days. A great location. Very quiet. Beautifully decorated. Well equipped. The most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Nice hot tub. The only minor complaint was that there wasn't much wardrobe space in the bedroom to put our clothes as they were locked.

The house is very comfortable, and just the right size for a couple or a couple with 2 young children. The site is spectacular and the location viz the town of Mendocino and all the coastal parks is also great. Operating the house lights took some getting used to, and the hot tub cover was missing some of its tie-downs. I would definitely return. Thank you!

This is the ideal location for a family getaway or small group girlfriends weekend away. A beautiful location and great home. It was a little hard to find, but we arrived at night and the street signs aren't very clear. Also, don't plan to bring a lot of food with you, the fridge is small and the freezer even smaller. If you know that ahead of time, it will help with the planning. Otherwise, a fantastic home and location. Very comfortable and gorgeous views and sunsets. Easy access to Mendocino and Fort Bragg. I highly recommend it and would stay again.

This is a perfect vacation spot for any one to relax on a ocean side with out having any other tension. Entire house is extremely clean and tidy. We are two (myself and my wife) booked this place for our first wedding anniversary.We both want to spend time in a scenic place which is far away from rushing life on this special occasion and we are very happy for choosing this place. We sat on the couch and the panorama is beautiful. All we are seeing is the mighty ocean. You get complete privacy being in this place. We loved the way the hot tub is placed. Got into the hot tub and the view is awesome. You can just sit there watching the ocean for hours. Kitchen has got almost every utensil you can think of. We haven't got much to cook but after seeing the kitchen we though we could have brought stuff. This location is only couple miles from Mendocino headlands state park, which made is very easy to drive on the noon and spend sometime there. All in all, this place is perfect for a relaxing vacation. We look forward to book this place in future. Forgot to mention, we even saw few deer near the house ! This place is totally worth everything you look for.

This was the best vacation house we've ever stayed at!! The view is INCREDIBLE! I sat out on the deck most of our 4 days there and just looked at the ocean. We saw whales go by as well as fishing boats. The house had everything we needed and I would recommend it to everyone!!

My wife and I have used the VRBO website to find places we could vacation with our kids for years . In fact, we used one home in the western Sierras almost exclusively for family vacations from the time the kids were very young teenagers until each left home for college. For our 26th wedding anniversary, we thought we’d try VRBO one more time, this time just for the two of us. We wanted to try and find a home somewhere along the Mendocino Coast, as nothing makes my wife happier than being near the ocean. We ended up choosing the "Sea Tower" because of its close proximity to the ocean… and boy, close is exactly what we found! The home was lovely, with comfortable furnishings and an extremely well appointed kitchen. It’s rare when you visit a vacation rental that you don’t find yourself at least once looking through the kitchen for something you desperately need, but just can’t find. Not this time though. Not once during our 4-night stay did we find ourselves wanting for anything. It’s clear the owners enjoy cooking themselves and they’ve left everything a visitor could need open and accessible. The view of the ocean was marvelous. You are literally just a stone’s throw away from a steep cliff that drops off into the Pacific Ocean, making the warning about bringing young children entirely appropriate. Off to the left of the property is a rock jetty to watch waves crash over, and to the right is the still functioning Point Cabrillo Lighthouse, which is something special to watch as the sun sets low over the water. Both the towns of Fort Bragg and Mendocino were within a very easy car trip to the north or south, making day trips a breeze. David and Jonathan were easy to work with and very accommodating during the reservation process, something of a plus when you're renting a home for the first time, sight unseen. We will most definitely be making this a regular stop for a long time to come.

Oceanfront location is stunning, and the property is situated at the perfect WSW angle for great sun and views over the water. Owners were very friendly and clearly put a lot of love and style into this place. Would visit again and again!
