I was recommended by some peers to stay here and it didnt disappoint. It feels like your visiting family when you go to Ballyglass. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and spotless.
They have a lovely little bar beside the house with an open fire serving great Guiness and food what more do you want.

A quaint country house with a very old antique look to it. Alot of old antiques on display from metal irons to wash boards to the old jug and basin which people used for washing years ago. Shutters on windows, heavy drapes hanging. Real old time effect. So different . Breakfast was lovely, choice of juices, cereals yoghurt fruit etc. Hot breakfast, toast homemade bread tea coffee. Own bar next to main house. Very quaint . Definitely would recommend
Can't say there was anything missing .

Ballyglass is a magical place that shows the visitor a slice of true Irland that we all seek. A lovely farm with a grand entrance. The small pub was delightful,as we enjoyed a baby Christening party, the family adopted us and met up with us downtown for dancing, singing and revelry. As a bonus we cheered wildly as Tipperary won the National Hurling Championship the day after our visit. We were in Dublin for the match. We also loved the wonderful country breakfast.

Ruth, one of the owners, was so lovely and welcoming, along with her girls. I was playing with one of the dogs in the courtyard when she came out to see if the dogs were bothering me. I said truthfully that I was the one bothering them, giving tummy rubs and tossing their stuffed dragon for them and trying to entice a cat or two over. Ruth ended up introducing me to all their menagerie, even taking me through the barn to the paddock out back to see one of the horses, recovering from a recent medical issue. There’s nothing like an animal tractor beam to suck me in. The restaurant next door was delicious! The bed comfy and soft, the shower powerful, the house altogether comfortable. I wasn’t able to take advantage of the delicious-sounding hot breakfast, as I was in a hurry to get to Rock of Cashel early, so I stuck with some yummy muesli and yogurt. And really good French Press coffee!
Nothing! It was beautiful.

Ruth was very welcoming and gave us coffee in the lounge area on arrival. Breakfast was good with choice of cooked or continental. A beautiful old country house with extensive gardens. Felt very comfortable there. Enjoyed some good down to earth Irish music and singing in the small hotel on the property next to the country house. Would definitely stay again.
