Quaint idyllic cottage

Mai's Cottage is idyllic. It is located in a quiet rural area. Clean and comfortable. Lily, the host, is welcoming and ready to answer any queries. In my personal opinion, Mai's Cottage could well have been used to model the fictitious cottage in the film 'The Holiday' I highly recommend Mai's Cottage.

A very comfortable stay indeed, I would highly recommend to anyone.

Not applicable it was self catering, but the owner very kindly provided bread, milk, eggs, butter, marmalade and tea bags for our arrival. Also the cottage was cosy and warm with plenty of hot water.

I cannot think of anything that I didn't like.

Peaceful and quiet rural setting with excellent amenities.

Hostess left eggs/butter/jam/milk/bread so could have breakfast without first having to buy food. Full facilities with even soap for washing machine supplied. Spacious rooms. Rural setting so quiet and peaceful. Full wifi so could stay connected when required.

Exceptional

Had such an amazing experience staying at Mai's Cottage. The cottage was so beautiful and clean. It had everything you needed. The area around the cottage is so scenic and peaceful. Such an amazing place to get away, and it's right beside Ballyhoura horse trekking, which was just fantastic for us. We can't wait to book again and will be mentioning the cottage to family and friends.

Es un lugar excelente para relajarte y disfrutar de la paz y tranquilidad del medio rural irlandés.

El lugar es muy tranquilo y la casa tiene todo lo necesario para pasar una estancia agradable. La anfitriona Lily fue muy amable y nos atendió a nuestra llegada. Incluso nos dejó algunos productos (leche, mermelada, huevos,...) para el desayuno. Es un lugar algo apartado pero perfecto para disfrutar de un buen descanso. La casa es muy pintoresca y el entorno está muy bien cuidado.

Para acceder y desplazarte desde allí para visitar otros lugares es mejor que te guste conducir por estrechas carreteras rurales. Para mí no fue un problema. No olvides el navegador.

Ein absolut empfehlenswerte Unterkunft!

Das Haus ist wunderschön und die Vermieterin ist total nett und äußerst hilfsbereit. Wir fanden die Lage prima, es ist halt etwas ruhiger dort. Wir waren an verschiedenen Orten Golf spielen und die Plätze sind phantastisch und vor allem sehr günstig. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Haus in ruhiger Lage mit toller Gastgeberin

Lily ist die perfekte Gastgeberin. Sie kümmert sich, ist aber überhaupt nicht aufdringlich. Das Haus ist super ausgestattet. Und ein Starter-Kit Lebensmittel war sogar im Kühlschrank. Alles funktioniert und ist sauber. Ganz in der Nähe ist der Ballyhoura Mountain Trail. Eine tolle und nicht überlaufene Wandermöglichkeit gerade mit Kindern!

Es ist ein altes Haus, dessen sollte man sich bewusst sein. Eine Handvoll Spinnen finden den Weg rein und werden zu freundlichen Mitbewohnern. 😉 Es ist etwas abseits. Ohne Auto kommt man nirgends hin.
