It was what we expected in terms of size and location.
Didn’t hear from or see the hosts other than an email to advise access and contact information. If a welcome book had been provided, it might have given us some guidance into how certain things worked ie heating water and internet - we had to figure it out. We had to clean the downstairs toilet as it had been used without being flushed. Kitchen chairs were dirty. The television didn’t work (not connected). Inadequate utensils in kitchen, for instance only one teaspoon, no sieve or bread knife etc. There was an invasion of moths so couldn’t really open windows.

Unlucky with my choice of weekends to stay , no electricity on Friday night , no water Saturday , sat night or Sunday . Difficult with 2 small children when electricity went , flash lights , no heating then when water gone , bottled water to flush toilets etc

Leider kein entspannter Aufenthalt.
Nett renovierte Wohnung mit Wohnzimmer, Küche, Büro, Bad, separatem WC und zwei Schlafzimmern. Die Waschmaschine war sehr nützlich. Parkplatz gegenüber ist praktisch.
Leider liegt das Haus direkt an der Hauptstraße, mit viel Verkehr. Es besteht keine Möglichkeit sich vor dem Haus aufzuhalten, da das Grundstück (noch) einer Baustelle gleicht. Beim Betretendes Hauses viel zunächst der verdreckte Eingang mit Teppich ins Auge. Die mit Spinnennetzen und Vogeldreck übersäten Fenster machten das Lüften unangenehm. Die Küche hat keine Spülmaschine, was an sich völlig in Ordnung ist, allerdings mussten wir sämtliches Geschirr nochmals reinigen, bevor wir es benutzen konnten. Dazu wäre es sinnvoll gewesen, wenn uns noch ein weiteres Geschirrtuch und Spülmittel zur Verfügung gestanden hätte. Die Polsterstühle in der Küche waren mit Flecken überzogen und auch der Kühlschrank wurde vor unserem Aufenthalt nicht gesäubert. Beim Kamin im Wohnzimmer klaffte ein Loch und am TV befand sich bei unserer Ankunft der Hinweis, dass er nicht funktioniert. Der ohrenbetäubende Lärm beim Duschen war auch nicht gerade angenehm.
