Country Hideaway

Great information for our stay on where to eat. Very friendly and easy‑going host. Clean place and conveniently close to Adare.

The room felt quite basic for the price. We also suggest adding midges screens to the windows as summer evenings can be warm and you might want to leave them open.

What a beautiful location, slightly rural, yet so close to fun places to explore. We wanted to visit Adare and Limerick, and we found Country Hideaway a fitting option since it had parking and was fairly priced. Our room overlooked a field of cows :). Our host, Aiden, was wonderfully welcoming, as was his adorable dog Cooper! The restroom is shared, but we never met another guest, so we had it to ourselves. You have access to the kitchen, so you can make tea or coffee. If you head to Adare, there's great food and pubs with live music- 5 minute drive away. I'd recommend you check out Country Hideaway.

Excellent experience at Country Hideaway. Aidan is so friendly and obliging. We were attending a wedding in Adare and Aidan drove us to the venue once we arrived. He went above and beyond. Fabulous home, super comfy bed and everything was spotless clean. Thanks for a fab stay Aidan.

The goldendoodle & the cat.

Firstly the property was extremely difficult to find. We were only 10 minutes away when we made the booking, but it took us 45 minutes and the help of several locals to help us navigate our way there. Finally we found a farmer who had lived there his entire life, he’d never heard of a B&B on that road, but he was able to decipher the directions of the location because of his knowledge the local property navigations. He actually gave us his time and drove his car ahead of us to show us exactly where the place was. No signage. No remarkable features that suggests it’s a B&B. Just as we got out of our car parked in the B&B driveway, the owner finally got back in touch with us. Poor dog was so lonely & overjoyed to see someone. We gave him lots of pats and hugs. The owner arrived home only a couple of minutes after us, but stayed in his parked car until we unpacked & were settled into our room. Very odd. No tea or coffee making facilities. Errr, no breakfast at this B&B. Shared bathroom only. Used towel in our bedroom, used wet hand towel & dirty wash basin. We did not see or met the owner or anyone else running the place the whole time we were there. Just a totally odd, bleak experience. We couldn’t wait to leave.

Common bathroom off the hall so no en suite, bath out of order, shower worked only with cold water, no breakfast provided, no staff except the owner who wasn't around much, room not done up during the day, still as i left it, no TV in the house except the owners in his private accommodation, room, no public area to relax, a dog that barked at night, an alarm that went off during the night, no notice at the front that it was a form of accommodation, the Eircode brought you to the next door house so difficult to find, comes up under Hotels - far from a hotel

Country setting, Aiden the host, was exceptionally helpful. He accompanied our every need.

This was the perfect relaxed setting I needed just before my exam in Clonshire Equestrian Centre which was only 10mins away so great location for me. Lovely spacious, comfortable and clean room. Beautiful house. Aidan was very helpful and contactable for any questions. Highly recommend.

Lovely stay. Aiden was very accommodating and welcoming. We had a wedding in Adare village and he even offered to give us a lift to the hotel after we checked in. Lovely stay.

Kein TV, Bett zu schmal für zwei Personen die kein Pärchen sind. Eine Decke für zwei Leute, ist Standard in Irland, aber die Decke war zu klein.

Dos sillas al menos en una habitación doble. Ducha muy pequeña, habiendo espacio en el baño

Alles sauber. Angenehmer host der vor Ort wohnt. Man hat hier seine Ruhe.

Parkplatz Situation ausbaufähig. Dusche hatte kein warmes Wasser. Dauerte ewig bis das Problem behoben war.

Ci è piaciuta ogni cosa: casa accogliente, host simpatico e disponibile, stanza spaziosa e curata, bagno grande e pulito, ottima posizione vicino ad Adare. Tutto perfetto.

Si tratta di una soluzione senza colazione, ma ci si può fare un caffè o un the da soli nella cucina della casa. Aiden, il gentile proprietario, ci ha accolti con numerose informazioni prima via messaggio e poi dal vivo. Ci ha detto che avremmo potuto utilizzare la cucina per prepararci la colazione, ma non abbiamo usufruito. Le camere sono al piano di sopra. La nostra era con due letti singoli ed era enorme, pulita e funzionale, senza troppi fronzoli. Il bagno condiviso era molto pulito. Il posto è piuttosto isolato nella campagna. Il centro urbano più carino nei dintorni è Ardare, ma noi siamo andati a visitare Limerick, evitabile.

Posizione piuttosto isolata, ma in pochi chilometri si arriva sulla statale a scorrimento veloce che porta sia alla penisola di Dingle che al Ring of Kerry in poco più di un'ora senza spendere le cifre folli dei b&b di quelle aree super turistiche.

Top five: - l'accoglienza e la gentilezza! Eravamo in ritardo a causa del traffico e sono stati molto comprensivi - la stanza bellissima e il letto comodissimo - le indicazioni utilissime su dove mangiare e cosa vedere - la posizione, fuori da Limerick ma comoda alle highway - il silenzio! Bonus track: i gatti!

Das Haus ist groß und gut ausgestattet, jedoch schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Der Host ist sehr freundlich, steht mit Rat und Tat zur Seite und gibt auch super Tips für Unternehmungen, sogar per Mail und SMS im Voraus. Die Zimmer sind geräumig mit Teppich, jedoch besitzt nicht jedes ein eigenes Bad.

Betten sind etwas klein, die Lage etwas Abseits von den nächsten Städten, so dass man immer fahren muss. Der Wasserdruck in den Bädern ist sehr gering, so dass Duschen wenig Freude bereitet. Bäder müssten mal renoviert werden. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht ganz.

C'est une belle maison à l'écart , la chambre est spacieuse, propre et confortable. L'hôte a gentiment offert son frigo.

Il n'y a pas de bouilloire ni de frigo dans la chambre. Le jardin est très grand et bien entretenu mais aucun endroit pour s'assoir et en profiter. Une fois rentré, vous devez rester dans la chambre...

Sehr exklusiv, sehr bequemes Bett. Unkompliziert, wunderschöne gehobene Gegend. Adare ganz schnuckliges Örtchen, Empfehlung Restaurante Pet Collins Bar, für jeden Geschmack eine Gaumenfreude.
