Dar Kandi

The riad was beautiful, in a great location (not too close and not too far). The staff were so helpful - they stored some of our luggage for free for a few days while we went on a tour to another town. They arranged a late dinner as we arrived late with a hungry teenager. We had a hamman at the riad which was also great and convenient.

I think having a bathroom door would have provided more privacy. My husband and I were sharing a room with our daughter. But I understand that could be the design of the room.

We absolutely loved my stay. The building is beautiful, with every detail exactly as it should be, and it truly made the experience special. The attention from the staff was amazing, everyone was incredibly kind and always willing to help.

Everything was Amazing. We stayed in marrakesh longer than anticipated and realized only after our first stay at Dar Kandi, that the location was amazing. We found ourselves going back to that area many times because that's where many restaurants we wanted to go to were as well as many of the boutiques.

The lighting in the rooms was less than adequate. It was very dark and romantic but for someone who wears any makeup it was near impossible to see yourself well and apply makeup decently. I actually borrowed a lamp each evening off the lobby breakfast tables to add light to our room. The room was amazing in its decor and size. We had the one with a balcony over the inner courtyard. We also had our 18 year old with us and she was very comfortable on the additional bed in the room which is usually made up as a sofa/daybed. We used the balcony as overflow because we travel with lots of luggage. The rooftop pool and lounge area is gorgeous day and night!
