The ladie of the hotel was super nice and helped us everytime we asked. Breakfast was really good! Room is nice and spacious with a nice balcony and good bathroom. Very clean!
Sometimes we did not have hot water (even after more then 2 minutes) and the hotel is next to a busy road and restaurant but was quiet after 10 (only had 2 nights of loud guests but that was not the owners fault). Our toilet seat was broken and the mosquito net needs to be replaced. The beds were too hard for us. If they fix these small problems it is a very nice place!

Location was very good for its money, a nice hike down the hill to get to Ella town, only downside was going back up but the tuk tuk service was excellent, 600 rupees to go basically anywhere in Ella compared to the others charging upwards of a 1000. Staff were excellent guiding us on what to do and showing us landmarks.
The power occasionally went out but were we asleep so we didn’t notice. The WiFi didnt reach our room but we didn’t even notice as we were tired from exploring the town and its surroundings.

Room was available here on booking but after confirmation the owner wrote a message telling me to cancel the booking as there were no room. Without apology. We had to sort out something else late in the evening after arriving from a long train ride
