Apurvi Homestay

The host was amazing! Such a lovely family! In the morning, the house was covered by clouds which looked insane! The location is literally inside nature. While walking back in the afternoon using stairs (it's a shortcut but exhausting hike), we saw a fawn in the jungle! That made everything worth it! You can see little Adams peak from this location. Lots of birds chirping, squirrel running around, monkeys, and peacock calling. It's a good experience. Just be careful of leeches if you're walking around during rainy days. Small breakfast. But it was also our cheapest stay WITH breakfast in our 3 weeks of journey.

The location was a bit far. If you have a vehicle or ask them to manage one for you, then it's not an issue. The room was very small. But beautiful.

Melanie and Sanjeewa take hospitality to the next level. Right from a warm welcome,to getting my laundry done, from Sanjeewa dropping me to the town and coming to pick me up past midnight. They don’t do it for the money, they just want you to have a good time. I can go on and on, but it won’t do justice to the way they made me feel welcome. I came as a stranger and left as a friend. It’s a perfect family and solo stay.

Honestly, I can’t say enough good things about our stay. Melanie was such a lovely and caring host. She made us feel very welcome, helped us with everything we needed, cooked for us in the evenings when it was raining and we couldn’t go out, and was always so thoughtful and attentive. The room was huge, very clean, and comfortable, and the shower was amazing with plenty of hot water. The views were absolutely beautiful! It’s a little outside of town, but if you rent a scooter, it’s perfect and easy to get around. We’re really grateful for everything and had such a lovely stay. Thank you, Melanie! ❤️

Melanie est super sympa, très arrangeante et aux petits soins. La location de son scooter nous a permis d’être plus autonome. La vue est très belle et le lieux un peu excentre du centre ville qui permet d’être au calme.
