Ideal family gite with swimming pool and super hosts.

Comfortable farmhouse conversion with a variety of bedroom arrangements. Absolutely ideal for a family or families with children. Well equipped kitchen - by the end of the season in need of a bit of tlc, but nothing major. Swimming pool adjoining house perfect for young children and with sufficient sun beds. Lots of board games, table tennis, etc. Wifi good in the main living area. Super hosts Julian and Sheila live next door, are full of helpful information and were immediately onto any problem. Attractive local area to explore - less than an hour to Mont St Michel and Fougeres and just over the hour to Dinan. Great market in St Hilaire on Wednesday mornings.

Not a complaint, as we had the place to ourselves, but you should be aware that there is a separate annex, which sleeps 5, at the other end of the house to the pool, which is shared. Ideal if you have with you, say, grandparents who would like a bit of respite from the children.

Beautiful quiet gite

Lovely Gites, very friendly owners, wish we were there longer to enjoy the gardens, pool, table tennis and petenque. Perfect if you want to have a relaxing time and read a book, listen to the birds and enjoy the views.

Don't forget towels! If you struggle with mobility the steps are steep in the small gite.

Comfy, lovely decorated stay.

This is a lovely quiet getway for a family or couple. Very near St. Hilaire. It's in a great location and the property is lovely and cosy has all the comforts of home. A very clean kitchen, bathroom and comfortable beds. A very pleasant English couple Shelia and Julian met us on arrival and made us feel very welcome and couldn't do enough for us. We will be staying again for sure on our return trip. Highly recommend. Jason.

Excellent property, we would definitely book again plus the owners are wonderful.

The space , facilities and location.It was peaceful and nothing was too much trouble for the owners Sheila and Julian.They made us feel very welcome after an arduous journey due to Eurotunnel delays. Sheila was good enough to buy us some groceries to keep us going , which was very thoughtful of her.

The pool was shared which we did not mind.However due to its close proximity to the property it could get a bit noisy at times.

Our kids liked the pool enormously. Myself, I was positively surprised by the many facilities: ping-pong table, table football, badminton, toys for the pool,... The hosts were also very welcoming and always ready to help. In one word, a location to recommend.

Zeer vriendelijke eigenaars die enorm behulpzaam waren. Ook heel veel begrip bij alle vragen die we hadden, fijne tips over mogelijke bezienswaardigheden in de buurt

Het was enorm gehorig, niet ideaal met kleine kindjes. Wij gingen ervan uit dat de volledige accommodatie gehuurd was maar het was in 2 delen verhuurd. Tuin en zwembad moesten gedeeld worden met de buren (geen van beiden was daarvoor groot genoeg)
