Tranquil

This spotless apartment was steps from Omaha beach . It had the most comfortable beds we ever slept on anywhere and we’d love to know where you bought them !! It was extremely quiet , but we were there in October which is an excellent time to see the Normandy sites . Wonderful stay & staff was very receptive. It was also easily accessible by very simple instructions.

Nice place to stay.

Directly at the Ohama beach with a great view. Very good reachable by e.g., car. All other important beaches are not too far away. You can hear the roar of the surf if you keep a window open at night.

Cleanliness of the property (one bedroom apartment). Also the pictures are not 100% the ones from the apartment.

A very good stop off point to see Omaha beach and surrounds for a day or two with a family.

Right by the beach, overlooking the sea, ideal for seeing the Omaha beaches and the surround. Very close to Cherbourg. Basic, suitable for purpose accommodation for a family for a couple of days.

There are limited places to eat nearby, the better places are a short drive away. They were painting the public areas at the time (which the place needed - most likely looking better) There was a wooden spoon with mould on it. We just did not use it, most of the other facilities were good. Public car parking could be a bit away from the apartment.

Great location, beautifuly large apartment on the beach!

Was a very large apartment, renovated and beautiful inside. It sits right on Omaha beach, amazing! It was perfect for the 4 of us, 2 parents and 2 teens. Quiet, clean, comfy would stay there again. Easy to get into.

Everything was fine, except for small miscommunication about there being 4 of us instead of 2, so we didn't have sheets, pillow cases, and 2 extra towels for the sofa bed. We were able to get more towels luckily.

Room 5...had stained sheets in all rooms, with sand on them, and a massive stained sofa bed, pictures sent to to property management but no response. All pillows were stained yellow and bathroom had brown staines on the wall that looks like feces. Not enough sheets and bathroom sink was clogged. No Wifi instructions, we had to figure out ourselves. Emailed [email protected] with no contact.

Amazing location and huge potential but let down but the details

The location was incredible and both beds were very comfortable

The kitchen and shower room were not very clean. Both sinks were dirty as were all the cupboards (including cutlery etc.). The kitchen was very poorly equipped with very few pans or utensils and despite it being advertised there was no dishwasher (although there was a washing machine which wasn’t on the inventory). The rest of the apartment was great but one of the windows in the bedroom would not open and we did not want to force it. This is a great apartment but the issues above let it down and could be simply rectified.

Great location and value!

We really enjoyed our stay here and honestly would have liked to have stayed longer. The location was wonderful, right on Omaha Beach! We didn’t see any markers but there was a restaurant right below the apartment, which was nice. The windows open up to the beach and the breeze and ocean sounds coming in was lovely!

Nothing we didn’t like, but a few suggestions and things to note. Soap in the bathroom would have been helpful, when you stay somewhere for 1 night you don’t want to have to go buy staples, and soap in the bathroom to wash hands is a staple. Second, a microwave would be a helpful addition, but did appreciate all the other kitchen amenities available. The apartment slept 8 but there was only 1 bathroom and that was challenging. Not a huge deal for a couple of days, but just something to note.

Superb view over the sea. Convenient location to visit the D-day beaches and museums. Little local store/bakery around the corner. Parking space in front of the building. Apartment has been renovated not too long ago.

Property was clean and kitchen had required utensils. Electric raditor worked well. Great views to the sea and the beach.

Bed was not the most comfortable. The property is a very old building that is renovated - but renovation is mostly cosmetic and floor makes squeaky noise in many places.

I would go back again in summer

the location was perfect to commemorate what our soldiers did for us. the property was very nice as well. from the front you see the beach from the large bright windows. at the back you look up from your bedroom to the cliffs where so many guns were at the top.

Great Value and Location

The view was amazing. Location was great for the beach. You will have to travel a bit further for restaurants and shopping. But, truly a good location for the beach. Its a great room for 2 people. Kitchen had a great refrigerator. I know that seems odd to mention, but if you like to picnic and have food in the room, its very helpful.

A few items needed work. The blinds did not work and the TV cable was broken. I think the previous guests might have did the damage. But the owner was kind about it when I mentioned it. I know they took the time to fix it. I would suggest bringing snacks since there are no restaurants in walking distance and the grocery is not very close by.

Location is fantastic. The rooms have a view over Omaha Beach, with just a small road in between.

Beds uncomfortable, especially the foldout couch, for people taller than about 1.80m. Extremely weak 4g signal, and broken wifi. No reaction at all to request to fix the wifi, and also not to a reminder two days later.
