I wrote an extensive review already. It is the same visit, 3 nights.

First the pros. The staff is exceptionally professional and friendly. From the front desk to the cleaning staff, they were courteous and positive. The location is relaxing, away from the city and civilization. It is isolated on campus surrounded by nature, recreation activities, and a museum. My personal favorite is the lounge. Surrounded by glass with a relaxing atmosphere, a place to drink some tea and coffee while listening to soft piano jazz. I was here during a typhoon which makes it even more cozy and relaxing. Now some issues. First, while everything here from lobby to lounge is hotel standard, the room feels like a cheap motel. The bed, linens, towels were all prestige and clean. However, the walls w were dirty with smudge marks and paint patches. There are also zero decorations. This is not really a problem, especially for minimalists. The real issue is the smell. The AC needs cleaning, it presents a moldy smell. The worst is the bathroom, which reeks of sewage. I had the door closed and fan on the whole time. The location is great except from the MRT you can only reach here through exit 2. So when you need to go out to eat in the city, you must go through the subway turnstile to exit 1. The MRT staff misinformed me and I end up being charged $20 NTD each time I pass through, $40 per round trip. It was only later I was informed to press the intercom at the MRT for the staff to let me through each time. This become a hassle if you have to go in and out to eat 2-3 times a day. However, to wrap up on a positive note. Your breakfast is taken care of and again, it is relaxing to eat in the lounge. Overall I do recommend, but if they can clean up the smell, this would've been a definite 5 out of 5.
