    The staffs are so friendly. The room and the common are so clean. Walkable distance from Taipei main station and close to the riverbank park where you can go out for a nice run or bike.

    This was actually my second time staying at this hostel. My first visit a few years ago was wonderful, which is exactly why we decided to come back. While the staff are still just as nice and helpful as before, the room we got this time had an extremely strong, unpleasant odor. At first, we didn’t notice it, but after a while, the smell became unbearable. We couldn't tell if the foul odor was coming from the bedding or the flooring. Because we didn't want to waste time changing rooms, we ended up buying disposable bedding and our own duvet to use instead of the hostel's. The smell fluctuated, getting stronger at times and fading at others. Unfortunately, because of this experience, we won't be returning and cannot recommend this place to others.
