    This place used to be called Miniinn, but it has now been renamed HO YA. It's located very close to the entrance/exit of Taipei Main MRT Station. A heads-up on navigation: if you're walking from the Airport Express / high-speed rail line, it can be a bit tricky to find. However, if you're coming via the MRT Blue Line (BL), you won't get lost at all. No matter which way you arrive, just look for Exit M7. You'll see the hostel's sign right next to a Family Mart. Once you're there, you'll need to go down to the B1 floor to check in. We've stayed here several times now, and everything is great. As for the other guests on your floor—well, that's totally up to luck regarding who you'll end up sharing the space with!

    Great location right beside metro exit, spacious locker area to pack luggage. Mini bedside table was convenient as well. Dormitory condition is great and good to meet other travellers.

    The young guy staff member with the tattoo demonstrated a standard of customer service that, in my experience, fell noticeably below reasonable expectations. His communication came across as unnecessarily confrontational, and his manner occasionally appeared to challenge or irritate customers rather than assist them. This approach may not align well with the responsibilities of a receptionist, a position that requires patience, courtesy, professionalism, and the ability to make every guest feel welcomed and respected. I am sharing this feedback sincerely and honestly, not to criticise the individual personally, but to offer a guest’s perspective that may help improve the overall quality of service and customer experience.
