Relaxing country stay. Quiet and peaceful yet central

I was well looked after with ample provisions of continental breakfast items, and a variety of drink options. The property was close to a small town and very central for travelling by car for a week in the area near and south of Belfast. Great shower with products available. Daisy (their darling dog) greeted me every day and on every arrival home. She enjoyed a little scratch on her head and a bit of a chat. I had a lovely week relaxing and visiting. Ulster Folk Museum and Hillsborough castle were highlights.

Ok for one person

The owners were friendly and the location was nice. They have a dog Daisy that was super friendly and I loved when she visited. It was clean and they did have some choices for cold breakfast (protein bars, cereal, pastries, and candy). They also had tea and coffee. There is separate parking on the property which made it easy to access the car if needed.

It is connected to their home so expect some noise as the kitchen is connected by a door to their residence. It is super tight and there is no separate sitting area. You must utilize the bed if there are more than one of you expecting to sit in the area with the tv. This reminded me of a dorm room at college however the room is smaller than most dorm rooms. We had to keep our luggage in the car because there was only one small coat closet. The drawers had personal items in them, so they could not be utilized. This is an ok stop for one person staying for a night or two, however two or three people in this space is two cramped. The top bunk was very uncomfortable and not suitable for an adult.

the location is not accessible by public transport, that’s the only Issue we had. However, Cathrine is very friendly, she helped us by dropping us to the nearest railway station.

Hosts were excellent and went above and beyond with the selection of chocolate bars in the fridge.the porridge satchets made a lovely breakfast and the selection of fruit and toiletries were an added bonus.will definitely be staying again in the future

A super property for a short stay to explore the area

Great property for my 1 night stay, had all the facilities I needed, was lovely and clean and comfortable, with lots of additional items provided incase you forgot necessities (toiletries etc). The breakfast items left in the kitchenette was perfect and the hosts were friendly and very accommodating. No charge for my dogs and plenty of space to walk them and room inside for them to stay. The owners own Golden Retriever is adorable. Parking is directly outside the property which was perfect for my early departure in the morning.

An enclosed area where I could let my dogs off lead would have been an added bonus but wasn't necessary.

Excellent option for a short break. Beds are comfortable, shower is excellent. Kitchen is ok. You have some food, fruits from house holder. Apartment is warm. You can stay with your dog. You have everything for a short stay.

Although small the place has everything you'd need right there. So comfy and homely, all to a high standard and great quality.

We loved everything. Such a great wee stop over. There was absolutely everything you think you would need, all provided in the excellent price.

As always, we had a great stay here. The hosts are really kind and friendly (even providing advice for car trouble that we had). Breakfast was great. The room was cosy and comfortable. And dog cuddles were a lovely bonus.

A great value stay in the perfect location for exploring County Down.

We booked this at the last minute for an impromptu trip. The accommodation exceeded expectations. The host has gone out of her way to make a cosy apartment. It was very clean, with extra covid precautions. Breakfast was provided and the little kitchen was ideal for us to prepare basic meals. We'll be back!

The accommodation was spotless, really cosy and had everything you need, from hairdryer to milk, bread, homemade scones, cereal etc. Lovely en suite shower, and good size kitchen area. Would definitely recommend, and will definitely return.

A quality retreat - with scones.

Anns-lea's location was very convenient for me. The accommodation was beautifully decorated, all equipment was good quality and the place was exquisitely clean. The hosts were friendly and helpful. They provided date and wheaten scones for breakfast - a real taste of Northern Ireland.

Hosts were very friendly and had the kitchen and bathroom well stocked which was a lovely touch. Nice fields around that we were allowed use is a big plus in the mornings for an excited puppy
