The view was superb and the End Place had everything we needed… a great welcome pack and even yoga mats and dressing gowns!! We also loved the Alpacas!!!
We couldn’t work the TV but then that’s our lack of skill.
The ground is uneven from the car to the door so wouldn’t be ideal for people with moderate to severe mobility problems. I managed with a stick.

Wow, this place is absolutely amazing!The property and location are superb for anyone wanting a relaxing getaway.The host Jules was extremely warm and very personable, and we were able to plan our week on all of her recommendations. On our arrival, there was a welcome basket,including homemade flapjacks made by her husband,Trevor, which were delicious! We particularly loved sitting at the table, looking out of the floor to ceiling window, enjoying a coffee whilst watching the ducks,chickens, and a rabbit on our first morning. We also loved the resident alpaccas who were real characters. We would highly recommend the Hebdon to Linton Falls walk and up to Grassington, which is really pretty.We would also recommend The Old School Tearooms at Hebdon on your way back where we enjoyed the best afternoon tea that we have ever had!(you will need to book).Fountains Abbey(National Trust) is also a must as it is really beautiful and steeped in history. Pately Bridge itself was also really lovely and provides everything that you may need for your stay.
The End Place is definitely somewhere that we will be returning to and honestly the best self-catering property that we have ever stayed in.

Total peace and quiet in the countryside with lots of wildlife. The End Place is a great place to unwind and visit for the Yorkshire Dales.
Can’t think of anything we didn’t like.

Great location, wonderful views. I enjoyed spending time with the alpacas, chickens and ducks. Some excellent national trust properties nearby too.
