A lovely little lodge in the most idyllic countryside. Was lovely waking up watching the rabbits, sheep and squirrels every morning. Fresh eggs on arrival was a lovely touch. Really recommend if you want a quiet, peaceful break away in the countryside, with lots of walks nearby or a short car ride away. Lodge was very cosy, cottage decor and very clean on arrival
Could perhaps add a sign for Blackberry Lodge on the gate, but other than that a fab stay

Perfect location for me to get around and visit various walks and sights in the area.
Perfect rural setting , quiet, peaceful and relaxing to start the day and to end it .
Farmyard sights and sounds are wonderful.
Maxiine is a super host , friendly.and welcoming to her part of Yorkshire. Always had time for a chat too.

It was a fantastic stay, the owner Maxine was super friendly and kind and her dog was gorgeous. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for work.
If we decide not to camp next year, i will definitely be getting intouch again.
After a long day working, it was lovely to come back to such a peaceful place. Not a single bit of noise and had a lovely chat with the chickens each morning.
I have nothing bad to say about it.

The location was very rural and so peaceful.
Loved seeing chickens horses sheep and cows.
Plus rabbits and squirrels.
The bed was really comfy which is very important for a great night's sleep.
Having to leave!!!
