Great location and easy to park. Very comfortable bed. Very inexpensive compared with other places nearby

Bedrooms have twin beds pushed together when doubles required, and unfortunately this means the beds take up most of the room.

Lovely little place tucked away!

Comfy bed, easy check in with no key! Doors were all coded. Added bonus of a microwave and cutlery in room. Loved the fact there were so many easily accessible plug sockets with USB charging points.

Bathroom was a little small with a tiny sink to navigate around.

The room was easy to access and was well equipped, warm and clean when I arrived.

Maybe improve the signage to show where the entrance to the accommodation is, although a very minor observation.

Somewhere to sleep, that's about it really.

Handy position for walks, ferry etc.

Zero interpersonal connection with owner or staff. Let yourself in,let yourself out sorta place. No interest in meeting guest's, just a way to make £££s. Why go into the hospitality business if you are not hospitable or interested in paying guests? Sadly, on the increase in these unfriendly, inhospitable times.😢

Quiet, clean and comfortable.

The room was comfortable and quiet and spotlessly clean. The location was lovely, overlooking a green and the "lake". Very good value for money.

By the time I got up at 8am the heating was not on and, on a frosty morning in January, it was cold in the room. I think they should have the radiators on until at least 9am.

Lovely property, very secure and at a great location.

Property was very clean and secure. Everything was provided and place was nice and cozy, The landlord was very helpful and responded quickly when asked a couple of questions. Shops are in close proximity which was very handy.

Stay was good apart from small issue

Room was clean, tidy, well-equipped and in a lovely location.

Not the accommodation owners' fault, but the barbershop downstairs was playing loud music, which meant we couldn't relax in the room during their opening hours. Would suggest avoiding the rooms directly above (we were in room 8).

The location of the property is great with pubs, restaurants and a shop within walking distance. The rooms were clean, comfortable and warm with good amenities for making tea, coffee and light snacks ( microwave)

Small room with amenities, no WiFi upstairs

Parking opposite the property. Has a microwave, kettle and small ironing board.

No working WiFi upstairs, owner wasn't in a hurry to fix it, maybe if I stayed for more than 1 night they would have. There was no ventilation in the bathroom and a lingering smell. The room was very small. Check in time is quite late.

Lovely spacious accomodation

Great location, helpful staff, clean, spacious and comfortable. Very accommodating with check in times as we needed to check in early and they were most helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Great location and lovely bed!

Lovely big comfy bed. The shower room was also lovely. There was a fridge and a microwave which were useful. There was a large tv (no netflix tho) The keyless entry was also useful to have and was very state of the art! The communication between the owner and myself was excellent and I felt very reassured that there was someone to contact should I need to. The location was also great - very near to Hooe lake/estuary and there was free parking just near the room.

The overall size of the room was smaller than I thought it would be for the price. The room with the toilet and basin was tiny and the basin itself was almost too small to use without spilling water on the floor. We were on the ground floor and I was conscious of people walking past our room door. It didn't feel like the insulation between the rooms was that good. There was no drawers or wardrobe (just a few coathangers)fine for us as only staying one night, but would have been a problem for longer.

Great stop for a night

The location was great, peaceful, and great value for money. It has a green opposite with a lovely view. The shower was really good and the room had a microwave, toaster and kettle which was really handy for the meals I had. The duvet and pillows were clean and comfortable. I really like the keypad code. I thought that was really cool!

Beside table was a bit sticky and the bed kept creaking during the night so was a little anxious not to move much.

Great little place for an overnight on the path.

Right on the coast path for walkers. Room was very comfortable. Well equipped with kettle, fridge, microwave, dishes, cutlery and washing up stuff, iron, hairdryer, tv. We enjoyed a takeaway & drink at the Royal Oak. All super convenient!

Room was a decent size but just slightly cramped for a couple eating in the room. Two pop up tables provided but only room for one chair so one of us sat on the bed. Otherwise great.

Clean, convenient accommodation in a pleasant location.

Well located and well equipped "rooming house" perfect for an outdoor pursuits weekend. The house is only 1 mile from the Mountbatten Centre and is opposite a pleasant park. Code entry for the house and the room was simple. The single room was small but has everything you need - bed, bedside table and hanging rail; small en-suite; and a counter top with microwave, toaster, kettle, complimentary teas & coffee etc, plate, bowl and cutlery; TV.

My first visit was to Plymouth for some time

It was excellent value and very clean . I was only staying for a couple of days, visiting family, so I cannot comment about other experiences , but would highly recommend this place 👌

Pleasant for an overnight stay

The property had everything I needed for my overnight stop. The shower was good. The owners provided plenty of information regarding the facilities that were available in the immediate area and also what attractions there were to see.

The property was close to a pub which ,eat parking immediately outside the property was not available but details of parking close by had been provided.

Compact and comfy

The room is compact but with plenty of amenities. Booking and check in was very easy. Great communication from the owners. Could just do with a couple of shelves in the room and bathroom. The bathroom in particular could really do with a shelf to put your washbag etc on. However, a very comfy room
