What A Find Loved It!

Fantastic place loved the room - got a home from home charm about it host was amazing would I stop here again 100% Loved it was like home from home but fancier, little things like having a sofa to chill out on to a great tv with a DVD player and in the room there's a bunch of DVDs to watch to a book case full of books to read its over and above what you would expect. Wifi was super fast - TV great smart tv so can log in to your stream services Room so clean there is nothing I did not like about my stay And The host super friendly even a nice text the next day to check all was good

A great stay and if we’re back in Plymouth I’d certainly stay there again.

We had a very comfortable stay at The Barley House and Chris was most helpful and welcoming. Imparting local knowledge and upgrading us, we even met for a drink in the Woodside pub later in the evening.

It’s on a bit of a hill that’s not a problem on the way into the town but we took a cab to get us back at the end of a full evening!

Absolutely incredible!!!

The host was absolutely incredible and did his best to accommodate and offer help! I had no phone charger and he got me one, I wasn't familiar with the surroundings and he pointed me in the right direction. The room was beautiful and more than enough, will definitely be staying again!

The only tiny thing I could possibly say, was there was a dog barking early hours of the morning from a neighbour - this cannot be helped and is of absolutely no fault of the host! This is being extremely picky and would not stop me staying again.

Very happy with the night I stayed.

I booked it last minute as I made a mistake with my booking at another hotel. Proprietor was friendly helpful asked if I needed food or anything else when I told him I.d been driving for 7. 1/2 hours. Even tho food wasn't. Included. 👍👍👍

A little more milk for the tea. I like milky tea 😃😃.But I.m a early riser. 5.45am. Without alarm.

An ok place to stay for the odd night. Fixtures and fittings done on the cheap.

A reasonably well maintained room. Comfortable bed, tidy en suite large tv. Good lighting. Tray with coffee tea and kettle.

Cheap carpet linens and furnishings. Poorly fitted shower fittings and sink taps. Carpet trim fitted out of square in the en suite.

Great value and fantastic host

A great place to stay when visiting Plymouth for an event. Conveniently located and a very friendly host. Chris even kindly gave us a lift to our event that evening. We will definitely return when we visit again.

Disappointing

The man who owned the property was friendly enough but I wouldn't have stayed there if Iwas staying more than two days

All the things supposed to be there we had ask for it ie tea, coffee, milk and toilet roll. There was no soap what so ever , no hand towel etc. Room felt like a store room and wasnt clean at all.

The perfect stay

The most important thing for me was the bed and the bathroom. After a long night out in Plymouth, I was so happy to jump into a nice comfy bed... like being on cloud 9. Bathroom was smartly fitted within the room so that I had the pleasure of having my own bathroom/shower room.

Honestly.... Couldn't find anything wrong. If I was to be a real nick picky, Want room service with an attractive lady.
