A place you'll miss the moment you leave.

Captivating location - the views, the sunsets, the sounds of church bells or the morning cockerel drifting across the wide valley, the smell of the pine woods and the thrum of the cicadas. Sophisticated and timeless Tuscan nature which one appreciates from so many terraces (the one by the large and lovely pool being the best). The house is large, each bedroom is ensuite and the mattresses are comfortable. Just a 15 minute jaunt into beautiful and interesting Arezzo, but utterly buried in nature. The hosts are very responsive and helpful. A very hard place to leave!

The kitchen is rather small, and the equipment is functional. Otherwise it is a matter of details which could make a liveable space really lovely - dimmer switches on the living room lights, better wi-fi (it is awfully slow), the sofas should really be a bit bigger and form a convivial space around a coffee table, rather than just be pushed against the wall, a bigger moka pot, a sieve, a cake tin, more than 4 wine glasses, just details.. Insects, mostly harmless spiders, do seem to make their way indoors rather plentifully. But honestly, after a day or two one doesn't worry about any of this as it is still a wonderful place to be.

The property and surrounding views are absolutely breathtaking. Very serene and private while very close to Arezzo. The property, including the pool, is very well maintained and stocked with everything you need , and the hosts are very well organized, responsive and accommodating.. The property is within one hour drive to many major attractions including Florence.

I would happily pay for a washing machine with my next booking and also pay to have internet provided (though to be fair Alessio lent us his own router, so my only real complaint is that he didn't let me pay for it). And if I were to start dreaming I'd go for a table tennis table on the top terrace!
